Bad idea, because you have to spit it out.Listerine?

You make it sound like he grabbed her by the hair and hawked in her eyes mate.40 year old man gets teased about the result of a football match and spits in a child's face. What a truly disgusting individual.
Exactly, the same could be said on Neville who openly criticises managers on a weekly basis, after clearly showing he can't manage for toffee.
I made a joke about a joke, SO THERE!Think that was the joke mate.
Holding back might be a good idea.He won't be sacked unless sky viewers start on mass to threaten cancelling their subscription, which i doubt will happen.
That's obvious or he wouldn't have been allowed anywhere near sky yesterday trying to save his job.
But i cannot see how he can possible be a credible pundit anymore, he will hold back so much all that will be left is his whiney voice and him sitting on the fence when conduct is an issue.

I dont, journalists are just fans who can put a few paragraphs together.I value the opinion of some of the journos at the Guardian etc. much more highly than anything Alan Shearer has ever said and most of them never even played Sunday League football.
Damn right, we're here for the in-house fighting & bitchingI dont, journalists are just fans who can put a few paragraphs together.
They will, by their very nature, have an extremely limited understanding of the game in general, compared to someone who has played or managed professionally.
This is for another thread though.

Keep up, people already photoshopped this joke yesterday! How long until Liverpool print t-shirts defending him?
Think the ex-pro's are doing a good enough job as it is.How long until Liverpool print t-shirts defending him?
Not really, they're paid to spend their days watching and analysing football and some of them have even published books on the subject of tactics etc. so to say they have a limited understand of the game is harsh. I'm not talking about the random people who just write nonsense transfer rumour nonsense but the proper journos who write proper analysis. Players obviously have an insight into certain aspects of the game that you can only get by playing, but that doesn't necessarily make them better at analysing a game they're watching, especially not if they're unable to articulate anything properly. For all we know Shearer is an absolute tactical genius but if he isn't able to get that across then he's still a shit pundit who offers no more insight than any random bloke who's watched the MOTD highlights.
