it won't spill on to the terraces at all until we lose a game. Then Levy will be the new Irvine Scholar. If we fail to get targets then Levy deserves criticism. If we get anything like West ham style reactions in the stands then I will honestly be ashamed of my fellow supporters. If having a poor window creates protests in our Brand new stadium whilst watching CL football, then those fans are everything that is wrong with Football now.
Yes but you would be surprised at how many fans haven't already thrown their toys out the pram all because we have signed an expensive player. It's silly and not warranted. Don't get me wrong it isn't great but here's to hoping it changes.

It’s not going to be like West Ham but if you want to charge some of the dearest prices in world football then he needs to deliver what pochettino wants or fans will be unhappy like they would at any club.

Don't disagree but paying more than anyone to watch football and not seeing investment isn't acceptable either regardless of the circumstances

Investment you say ? What about the investment in our state of the art Training Ground or the hundreds of millions being spent on our new stadium. Isn’t that investment in the club ?

If we have indeed sold Toby to Utd I would think the fan reaction could be pretty bad if we don't bring in proper quality. Not at all West Ham bad, ever. But I can imagine things will be a little tense if results don't go our way in the first few matches

You'll be standing in an investment to be fair.

Fully aware, i walk past it every day but we have been told it wouldn't affect investment in the field. I think What's going on at the club for the most part has been amazing but not investing in this team, this summer would be a disaster. The effects of that will be seen in future windows imo.

It seems too many accept playing in a shiny new stadium and the champions league as an achievement. Last time I checked football is about winning and you don’t get medals for the best stadium.

We won nothing last year with our current team, and whilst we seem to be standing still every other club has strengthened. Should we as fans accept that as we now have extra leg room, a micro brewery and a cheese room!

Can't predict the future to be fair. It'll be the first few games/weeks/months on the pitch I'll be watching.

Fans worrying about the bottom line rather than the football ... Have a word with yourselves.

As Trix said and I agree that going into the new season in a brand new stadium and playing CL footy would be weird for an effect to spill on the terraces, the club still has to invest in players to guarantee CL participation and remain competitive with your adversaries.

It was being said that said someone couldnt see investment. It has been shown investment in new stadium, new training facilities and new contracts.

Because watching Harry, Dele, Christian, Jan, Son, Davinson et al managed by Poch, all on fat new contracts, in a brand new stadium, is such a hardship. Woe is us.

Nothing surprises me any more. I have never known the forums to be as toxic as they currently are.

Its the lack of signings or a clear strategy for the coming season. We've been here before. The last i saw it this "toxic" was with the Berbatov transfer.

Looks to me that we will have lost our bargaining power if we are direct seller ng toby which makes martial unlikely

If he isn’t coming as part of the Toby deal and we’re not signing Zaha then I really am lost with who we’re targeting for the wing forward role.

I dont think that anything will happen in the stadiums, I think this is purely forum level frustration and that there has been a perfect storm created to make the forums what we they are at the moment.

1. The itk, not a bash but the reality is thsfe was very exciting itk that people took and allowed themselves to run wild with as it wove very nicely into what was going on with the club. It is easy to believe the things you want to hear and ignore arguably your ( specifically yours) more pragmatic itk which was; everything done late, no premier purchases and small chance lf big spend.
2. Pochs comments, 1 which was asking for early signings and the other being the brave comments which were intepreted 56 ways.
3 finally the new stadium itseld is a catalyst thinking this is our big moment and big season.

I think those 3 factors created some big excitement and its not happened in the way people hoped but I myself dont think the vast majority are being entitled. I dont think the vast majority are demanding huge signings but just a few additions which will get us over the line.

I know a few people are being hyperbolic expexting doomsday but when the time comes to get behind the team I dont think theres a chance in hell we will go the West Ham route no matter what, people are smart enough to see the big picture of what Levy has done for us even if we slate him for a bad window.

What I will say aswell is as an example the Zaha news sent people into a meltdown, I was gutted myself but as soon as I read last night we backed away from a 75 mill evaluation, I said fair enough, I can appreciate that is too high a sum and I imagine the majority would agree. I believe we were initially gutted because we heard the fee wouldnt be as bad as that.
