PEH is rarely going to give you a 9 or 10 out of 10, but he typically is a consistent 7+. Sure there are a lot of things he is not good at, and maybe he is not suited to the way Ange wants us to play long term, but he doesn't deserve some of the stick he gets from his own fans.

In 239 prem games his stats say 3 errors leading to a goal - you'd be forgiven for thinking it happens 5 or 6 times season reading some posts about him.

I hope someone makes a clips reel of his interceptions, tackles, slide rule passes, assists and goals for us - there's a lot of good he has done in a Spurs shirt that is overlooked.

Upgrade him - yes sure I am all for continuing to improve our squad, but don't make out like he is everything that is worng with the team.

People forget how much we needed him when he signed. We couldn't believe we finally had a midfield general who made everyone around him play better and never got injured. I think after Jose's and conte's boring tactics everyone mindset changed and we've taken PEH for granted.

He is a brilliant player who's specific skillset might not be a perfect match for our current tactics, But a brilliant consistent player nonetheless, who's attitude is flawless despite losing his starting 11 status. Deserves a lot of respect from us.

Bentancur still far from his best and Bissouma possibly ill or injured and in poor form anyway. We can definitely use someone like him until Summer.

PEH is a true professional and will be missed.
What I'm noticing is that he's actually adapting to the style of play better and better with each match. I think it's taken him a while to change his approach from safety first to forward thinking passes but he's doing that more and more and I'd be happy with him staying

He's adapted to our new style pretty well of late, and 90% of the time he's terrific. But there is always that 10% where he fucks it.

Mind you, could say that about Udogie of late as well.

Yeah I like PEH. He has the moments where he looks ponderous and unco-ordinated but mostly he does good things on the pitch. I’m impressed with him most of the tome technically but his body lets him down and occasionally he forgets his physical limits - I think that’s his biggest weakness.
