Rose and Tripps should be our back up FBs.

And until we can upgrade we should use Verts at LB much more.

If we had his quality out there in this game it would have changed the character of our performance.

Wrong shape to start with anyway.

A very poorly managed game, overall.

Too many poor player performances as well.

But the way we set up didn't help us.

Could have got a lot more out of Son, Eriksen, Kane today.

Wasted.

Shambolic performance, Burnley thoroughly deserved their victory... bundles of energy, never gave up and outfought us all over the pitch.

Foyth, Aurier, Rose were absolute horseshit with Sissoko, Winks and Son anonymous.

Poch’s tactical subs were pathetic.

Shocked we’ve lost a pinnacle moment game, very unlike us. Next up CL. We’ll get top 4 though so we can do it all over again. Around and around we go, it’s all very enjoyable.

To be honest, really crap result.

7 defeats is a lot.

Just get top 4 sorted soon enough so I can tune out of the rest of the divisions games then. I have zero interest in anything other than our games.

Poch let himself down a bit there. After scoring we were utterly pathetic. Dean was shit but it’s our fault entirely

Blame Dean all you want but it was far too many players off the pace.

Son, Eriksen, Sissoko, Rose, Aurier, Foyth and Poch were all awful. You can’t carry that many in one game.

The subs were just bizarre.

The issue was that the defenders kept making shit headers and clearances from Burnleys long ball game which dropped into space infront of the back 3. Which is exactly what Burnley fucking wanted and why it was really stupid taking off Winks who was the only player in that space. Really missed a DM for the first game all season. Their 2nd goal was caused by the same, stupid clearance in to the non-existant defensive midfield area.

You cannot switch to a 4-4-2 and have Eriksen in the middle against a team like Burnley.
Far too weak in the tackle an rarely tries to make up for it.

Son was poor and I’m not sure why Poch didn’t sub Moura on earlier as it’s a fairly 1 for 1 switch.

Most worying thing is we look clueless in attack. Our goal was a once-a-season thing, purely opportunistic. Burnley looked much more organised, crafted their opportunites and could have had more. Why can't we play like that? I think we need new talent in our coaching team.
