The media making out that Poch squaring up to Dean is about the corner being given when it shouldn't but it's not.

Poch is a model professional and never reacted this way before.

In the video you can see Poch and Jesus calm and walking away and then suddenly they are furious (Jesus especially). Some people are reporting Poch said: "You can't say that to me" and he also points to the camera as if to say "Say that again to the camera"
If even Jesus, possibly the nicest and calmest guy around I supposed, was pointing his finger at Mike Dean so furiously and lashing out at him, there must be something that jerk had said that was way out of order for a ref to say.

I hope we are given the justice of any wrong if complaint against.

The Llorente sub lost us the game.

Eriksen is not physical enough to play in CM against Burnley, and it was him who inevitably pussied out of a 50/50 (again) in the build up to their second goal. Winks would’ve challenged him.

Llorente coming on was the right move. It was who was taken off for him. Foyth and Sissoko both should have gotten hooked then

At least they've won things and played at the highest level, what's her level compared to the game she's talking about. You could have non league players in her role with the same experience but she's there for being female, tokenism

She's played at the highest level of women's football. 140 caps for England, multiple premier league titles, champions leagues, FA cups. She's got an MBE. How many of those non league players have played in three world cups?

I disagree. It's a case of earning the right or at least understanding the culture. That's why you have the presenter and the pundits should be SMEs that understand not just what is going on the pitch, but the mentality and culture off of it.

Having her as a pundit is nothing more than a box ticking exercise. That said the problem with most pundits is that they are too PR focused anyway. Shame more of them don't just actually say what they think.

And there is a good football journalist?!

Personally I want someone who understands the game, I don't care what level they've played to. If they can tell me something I wouldn't pick up by myself they're doing well. She's got more to say than Redknapp, Ferdinand, Owen or a lot of the so called expert ex players.
Another thing to consider is that a lot of the audience are female and probably want to see women in the studio. Giving that audience what they want doesn't make it tokenism.

It’s clear that Foyth has the quality but he just needs to get the necessary experience and he will be a great CB for us for the next few years.

I'll return your dummy to you when I find it.

Meanwhile, the team has done magnificently well to stay in the conversation for as long as they have, doubly so when you consider that all of you were writing them off and having exactly the same hissyfits after the Wolves game, again after the United game and then again when Kane got injured and then again actually DURING games where we scored late, late winners. Bottle, bottle bottle, you can't wait to use it. It's lazy and it's pathetic.

When exactly did we bottle it? After Wolves, during a couple of games after 80 minutes? Today?, or if we lose another game?

Jesus fucking christ. It's like mothercare on acid around here when the bad news hits.

Not particularly helpful.

Everyone knows the team has done well. Everyone knows that Pochettino has done a great job with no financial support.

But that doesn't mean that people aren't entitled to be pissed off and angry after today's result & performance.

So please don't call them "pathetic". Because we can all start calling each other names if that's what you want. But I hope we don't because that really would be lazy & pathetic.

Worth nothing that even Jesus got in Dean's face, never mind Poch.. The fact that Poch asked Dean to repeat what he said to the camera suggest Dean may have said either something to personally offend Poch or something sarcastic about the club like "you bottle yet another title race" or something like that..

Yeah, Jesus being just as angry makes you really wonder what was said.

I doubt we'll ever find out what it was though.

You can be pissed off and not call the team legends, it's so fucking lazy. We played poorly and Burnley were the better team on the day, it doesn't make us legends. Its just a tired line people put out whenever we lose a single game.

don`t know why you play Foyth in a game like this
What bemuses me is that we put him on and then still try and play through the midfield (what was left of it) and when we do get the ball wide, still go side to side, backwards, backwards etc.
exactly just pointless

On the whole I agree he has the talent, but I can't deny that some of his performances have left me questioning his ability. Worrying that when opposition teams set out to target him they often come out on top.

We were never in a title race, i cant see any team in the world getting away wins against city, pool and chelsea in a run in. we would have needed to win every game which was never realistic and one would have to be very young or naive to think we had a chance.

This defeat may give us the kick up the backside we need for the next 2 games which are 6 pointers in race for top 4 which is an unreal achievement with the world cup, no rest, no signings, injuries, biased refereing.
