The good thing about today’s result was that we didn’t draw

Keeps up our record breaking run going. We can put a certificate in the brand new Trophy Cabinet at NWHL

Bad Day at the office today especially from Poch, started with imo wrong formation and got substitutions completely wrong.
Foyth off for Moura at Ht was what we were crying out for.and back to a diamond
Also, even though he got the goal, the whole dynamics of the winning team without him, changed when Poch decided to start Kane. I would played him as a sub using Llorente to start, play a back four therefore leaving a space for either Lamela or Moura. That was how we were winning the last few games. Until it broke, dont fix it. No a knee jerk reaction either as I said the same thing prior to the match.

anyone who watched the Burnley game at Wembley earlier in the season would have known we’d have problems today.

Poch really bigged up the importance of this game, so now we’ve lost we can’t underestimate how bad that is.

Burnley match up incredibly well against us. Dyche seems to have Pochs number last few seasons.
We won this fixture 3-0 last season, 2-0 the season before

He's got the quality, but needs to get stronger. Got bullied today.

He’s still young and still learning the game in England. I’m okay with giving him the time.

However , As per my previous post, I felt that Poch should have seen that and replaced him at half time.

I think Kane had to play given the next few games we would need Kane to be up to speed, if he didnt play to put him against Chelscum and Arse to start would have been difficult.

The problem I have is you have wing backs but then decide not to cross etc... I suspect the wing backs are there to create space and increase the width of the pitch but the pace of play was slow and cumbersome... Burnley did a job on us...

Its hugely frustrating

I don't know why so many fan's keep refering to us and the title we were and are never going to win it, as I have said previously you can't lose 6/7 games and expect to be in a title race only the fact that we have had no draws has kept us in it otherwise we would probably be 5/6th.

As long as it’s mathematically possible, there will always be some small glimmer of hope by some fans to have fantasies of winning the league, even if it’s very unlikely. I think it’s normal for people to live in hope.

That feeling will now fade as we fall further away from the leading clubs and nearer towards the end of the season.

We did but last season at Wembley 1 - 1 home, this season scraped a win in injury time, today we lost. They match up well against us.
But this was their first win against us for a long time. Hardly having our number. No doubt they are tough but we should still win and usually do win these games. This is their first win over a top team since 2016.

Just like against Watford, a team we do well against usually but lost there this season. Every now and then we seem to lose this type of game.

I can see utd taking 3rd spot but I would certainly be happy with 4th

Agree.
But he should never have started this game. Its easy in hindsight I know, but we had to know how Burnley were gonna play. And Foyth was always gonna be targeted.

Our players didn't play like team Hungary to win a title today. Can they honestly say they left everything out there?
But lets get back to reality.. 3rd in the league and still in the CL IS overarching

Us being title contenders was born in the sky studio for their own agenda, we all know were not, if your a title contender you do not play Foyth for one and Aurier or sissoko for another. Yes Foyth has some potential and Sissoko has improved but no, no no no.

Danny rose drove me mad today, why he prefers to try and get to the by line instead of crossing early is beyond me, all he did was lose it every time.

Poch has to hold his hands up today with the starting line up and the subs, taking Winks of was a ludicrous decision when there were three others way of their game and im not including Son who was invisible for the whole game. We were a shambles.

Sorry, I'm failing to understand this idea that Alex Scott is somehow unqualified to commentate.

She's won five Premier League titles, seven FA Cups, a Champions League, a Women's Super League, and three Women's Super League Cups.

Hoping someone can direct me here, but is there some other requirement needed for her to be 'qualified'? Or is that she doesn't qualify because she's missing something? Something the likes of Carragher and Redknapp seem to have two of one - one in their pants and one attached to their foreheads. Is that it?

Just looked at the team we put out last season that won 0-3 at Burnley. Three player changes today from that match. Difference being, we won the battle first and then outplayed them in that game.

But poch didn't have much choice in reality did he considering that the club haven't bought anyone for a year and are muddling through with limited fund's.

Personally I would not have started Llorente I think this game needed Moura`s pace. Moura has been criticized recently but I think the work he did making space for Son was overlooked. Also Moura worked well with Kane earlier in the season..

This is the sort of game where you needed Alli. Someone who can get at them and isn’t scared of getting involved in a battle. Today our midfield was shocking.

We need to pick ourselves up because there is still a battle for top 4 if we aren’t too careful, stop thinking about the title, we were always outsiders anyway, that hope died after the Wolves game. Concentrate on keeping hold of 3rd and progress in CL.

I still have some belief that we’d get 3rd , but if things don’t fall in place , at worst we’d get 4th. I see Chelsea and Arsenal dropping more points as the season winds down.
