Eriksen is a quality player but I think now is the right time for him to leave, mostly for himself but I'm actually looking forward to seeing how we move forward without him, when he has a bad game, we have a bad game and I don't like that dependency.

Update from Ali Z COYS:

Just a small update, not all of the info is recent but posting what I know as out of the country for at least 3 weeks.

Poch wants a minimum of 4 in, 6 if Eriksen and Toby go. Names I know we really keen on are Ndombele who we have tried for before, Sessegnon and Wan Bissaka, my info first 2 looks doable. I don't know of any others we are keen on, don't mean we are not btw.

Toby likely to go this summer has no interest in the deal offered £165k including bonuses pw, may run down his deal. Erkisen will go to Spain if the price we want is agreed if he doesn't every chance a deal can be agreed. Trippier has plenty of suitors, don't be surprised if he is one of Ole's new guard.

We have a list of players we want out and a list that we will sell for the right price told to expect a decent net spend as Levy know this summer he has to deliver. That's all I got.
The most surprising and shocking part of this is that COYS still exists

Eriksen has been great for us but you always wonder if he is going to turn up in the really big games when it matters - he does it sometimes but is not exactly reliable. As much as I love him I think if we get a good offer for him and he wants to go then let's do it. The squad badly needs some new blood in there to shake it up a bit. Poch I can't see leaving this summer at all. I think we have another couple of years at least with him at the helm.

Have enjoyed Eriksen at Spurs but I feel his time is done.
He has been poor this year and has seemed 'gone' for a few months now, however this poor play may have been noticed by RM and they have decided to move on, should we offer him a new contract if that is the case, a NO from me, he has mentally left THFC and will not get that feeling back. Lets replace him with a younger more dynamic player and move forward as a club.

Really not arsed about Eriksen leaving.

I’ve never seen this Lo Celso bloke play a single second of live football, and I’m relying on YouTube compilations, but what i’m not seeing is him screaming and running away when a footballer comes within 3 yards of him.

Before people start coming out with BS numbers has anybody/can somebody please work out just how much we can spend on tranfers with our turnover under FFP rules ?

No real idea other than I don't think it revolves around a single season. It's a rolling 3 year window. Which given the recent financial results, a pending stadium sponsorship etc may mean we would have to spend an extraordinary amount before it became an issue.

I think it’ll be more about changing the style of play should Eriksen go. We won’t replace him, we’ll hopefully land a quality player that does their thing well that the team recalibrates around
If we want to change our style of play, we might need to change our manager, or at least refresh the coaching team. In attack, I think Pep and Klopp both get more out of their players than Poch gets out of ours. I think we are now in a position to upgrade pretty much any position, including managers.

Somebody over the last couple of weeks has said we could spend £200mil & still be within FFP. However, no idea if that's true, and this is not the thread to ask such questions mate.

Stick to ITK related stuff, if you want to keep reading ITK related stuff (take it from someone who knows & previously learned that the hard way ).

Liverpool sold Coutinho to 'a bigger club' and look where that got them
Just continuing from this point, I believe the perception and characteristics of a 'big club' should change, it doesn't necessarily mean buying the best players and keeping the best, it's about selling the lacking in ability/don't give a fuck players and buying the right players to replace/upgrade, whilst also promoting a few youth from the academy now and then. As you can see, more and more clubs that you'd usually call 'big' are selling to eachother. It's all about building the right team.

To whom? If Poch is off to Germany (he isn't) there aren't many upgrades that are available

Pochettino got the players to a CL final after spending £0 and players coming back from a WC, klopp and pep spent hundereds

Yep Eriksen has checked out, he has no drive left in him at spurs. He has had no interest in taking control of a big game, even though we all know he has the talent to.
