In this case I think most fans know Ajax are cheap when it comes to buying players. I saw reports they offered 15m Euro in the Jan transfer window which was rejected out of hand too

Tbf they probably don't have anything like the budget of a lot of premier league teams. I'm surprised that no-one else has entered the fray as he is a talented player.

You don’t lose talent. Motivation and confidence maybe, but not talent. He’s still a good player just needs to find the right home.

Stop believing everything you read about the Bastoni deal. I've said the same all along, he would join us and Inter are desperate for the money so I'm still pretty confident a deal can be done. Of course there are many things that can change with a transfer, but this deal is far from dead and it may be a case of Inter having to push him so they can get the funds they so desperately need. If it doesn't happen, don't panic, we are in very good hands with FP & AC.

100% this, if we could turn romero into dybala and prime Gareth bale (someone who balled out for us big time and sold for a massive amount) I don’t think we’d be too upset
