I am a bit concerned on the long term benefit of this, if he just sees us a stepping stone. Would be a good addition, but not at the cost of holding back others, if his heart is never really going to be in it for us.

True. He might want a move to a bigger club, like, say, Real Madrid.

I'm sure it has been posted here previously that there is an issue with his agents/management team and that if he's loaned for a year and then his transfer happens, then they aren't involved anymore.

Yeah, I hear that, but apart from this forum, I can't really say who also reported on it. If it's from a reliable ITK, then I'm sure that's the reason.

Its is very telling little instagram post by him, although could be him taking the mick of the media outlets rumours. The thinking emoji and the fact is in a telephone box means he is speaking with an English based club.

The more closer he seems to get to us leaves the feeling of ericksen leaving, although im not sure Dani really wants to move, especially as reports keep saying he only wants a loan move, yes he is thinking of his career short term and only wants to be back at Real.

Looks like he's getting forced out regardless, we might aswell benefit, Madrid as usual want to stack it in their favour so if they've made a mistake they can rectify it with ease and that's where Levy will hopefully negotiate well. Eriksen is gone already imo, we're just trying to find the variables which benefit us from it.

What I find hilarious is that the Sky Sports article on this says that we're in talks and Ceballos would prefer a loan as he doesn't want to leave Spain then, in the very next paragraph, they state Liverpool are preparing a £45 million offer for him.
So which is it?!?!

No it says Marca are reporting Liverpool could make a 45m bid.

@SpartanSpur was right, the spanish media are so full of shit, they have no outlets or specific people where you can safely say they have a solid source, it's just seems peddled shit and now and then Marca will be given dogshit by Madrid to throw out.

El Arsenal, el mejor colocado para hacerse con Ceballos

Arsenal, the best placed to take ceballos

IF we actually want him and that he's a first choice, definitely one we've chased hard and been desperate to sign all along signing, then i'd be staggered if we lost out to Arsenal. What can they offer that we can't ?
