Yes. Personally I think he will fancy his chances of outlasting ZZ. They have been shit preseason if I was him I'd think that was possible. Sitting tight on 600k per week wouldn't be too hard.

Well there is that.. But that is the beauty of this perfect deal. RM would like Eriksen I am sure, he was valued at a similar level as Coutinho not long ago. They are shocking at the moment and am sure Eriksen would improve them. They are desperate to get Bale off their wage roll. Levy offers a straight swap for Bale + They pick up 1/3 of his wages, we pay £250k a week, between Bale & some creative thinking with image rights etc I am sure we can make up the shortfall.

Don't think Bale will get a better offer than that apart from China, which I doubt would really appeal.

The other thing to mention is we know Bale is passionate about Wales, and we have EURO 2020 coming up, with some games in Wales. I am sure he would want to be in the best form and it would be a dream to play for Wales for in a major tournament in his home country.

This deal is making more sense the more I think about it.
Get it done!!!!

It's such a sad affair. I bet he's down in the dumps with all this.

Madrid are such a horrific club. Classless.

Im absolutely certain he'd bloody love a return to us. It's a shame it stretches us financially.

I´m sorry if this has been posted in here already. But I just think it´s one of the best pieces I´ve read on the whole Bale issue - and for that matter; on modern footballers.
