JJ seems to think we’re likely to sign GLC a and Sess so i’m happy with that.
What has he said that makes you think GLC is likely? His tone suggests to me that the positivity he exuded for most of the window has been ratched down several notches, and his car negotiation tweet in particular would seem to suggest that the neogtiations for GLC have been a clusterfuck. Unless he's come out with something that hasn't been copied over here yet the outlook doesn't exactly look rosy.

Can’t believe Levy would fcuk this window up for the sake of an extra€10m on either GLC or Fernandes. It doesn’t make sense.

When it comes to pushing forward and signing the players our manager actually wants Levy is the definition of not making sense, I genuinely believe his idea of winning in football is the team that makes the biggest profit.

Fairly sure he's talking about GLC and Sess when he states to the shortest odds comment, but the original tweeter asking the question is private.

Poch’s biggest strength as a coach is his ability to improve players. I find it strange that he is apparently so adamant about having a small list of players he wants. Our last season at the Lane was the best team I can ever remember us having. A young hungry team with a clear idea of how they wanted to play.

We desperately needed to freshen the squad up this year as it’s all gone a bit stale. Is it our scouting system or does Poch really only want his main targets and no plan B? I’m shocked and worried that we have got to this stage of the transfer window and only signed two players. Something is not right.

There's been info here that his stake in Spurs gets diluted should Joe Lewis invest more money from his own pocket.
Yeah that’s true, which suggests all the more he will play it with absolute caution as he has done

I think CE has screwed all our plans for this window.

It really shouldn’t though. Not if we are the supposed big club that wants to challenge for trophies. We’ve had 5 fucking years to sign a successor/alternative/cover/genuine competition for him. Not to mention trying to get him to extend his contract for the last 12-18 months.

TBH keeping CE on that wishlist probably means keeping CE on new contract.

That's what the man said he'd do if he stayed but, irrespective of that, it all goes to prove how some people are absolutely impossible to please, because they seem to enjoy being miserable. There's been nothing negative in any of the ITK, and yet it's been spun as if the world is ending. As per. The negative lot spend all summer waiting to pile on misery at the smallest opportunity.

You can't say that Sess is not a Sancho level regarding to potential.

And ITK said we have money, but it's impossible to spend +100m every season.
We didn't spend anything last season though so I don't see how we can't spend a bit more than usual this season, especially after all of the revenue that the club generated during the last financial year. Sessegnon just doesn't excite me, not yet, probably not for about 3 more years if I'm being honest. Sure the talent is there, but if he's all that's being brought in over the next few days then we're in some trouble imo

I've felt for a while it would be just Sess and Lo Celso left to sign this window and I was happy with that. Considering how Betis have messed us about I'm not surprised if we're only confident on Sess. If we only land Sess the only thing that can save us (to some extent) really is new contracts for those on their final year. 3 injuries already though so we're really putting ourselves up against it.
We are the bindipper equivalent in the transfer world. Always somebody else's fault. Pay the extra 10m you baldy twat

JJ has said the window isn't over yet. He has liked a tweet saying 'The window shuts before we kick a ball in anger. I still believe we have deals ready to do'. I believe we still have deals in the pipeline. Let's just wait until the window is actually over

It’s ok for the club to assess the GLC and BF fees as ridiculous but Levy apparently wanting £130m for a Eriksen isn’t?

Also, given our shortcomings year after year in the transfer market, you would think someone would of learnt not to hedge all your bets on 1 player? If they moved the goalposts on GLC months ago, then BF should of been sought after then. Not with days to go...

Best make the most of Pochs last year.
