To be fair I've quite enjoyed reading the ITK 'post mortem' reports before. Think Herc did a detailed one once.

The nature of the days before deadline day - updates come from multiple places, but not necessarily in chronological order as it is fed from different sources. So you can get one update saying something is on, and 5 minutes later saying it’s off, and in reality the first update is the most up-to-date one. Very difficult to tell the current state of each deal. Enjoy the ride!

Agree, my worry is that it’s Dybala as I’ve always felt Poche wanted Lo Celso the most.
Fernandes is still an outstanding player to get.

I think he's our (SC's) least preferred. I know i'd rather the two Argentinians for example. Cheers for the info in any case

Cheers Breezer... adding that to the rest of the ITK could suggest that we have "failed" or are not confdident in getting one of the big(ger) targets, IF that is indeed the reasons. Could just be Poch wants him more.
Plus should doesn't automatically mean will... but it's the strongest suggestion of which one we are likely to see happen next.
