Seeing Breezer post about BF and rereading Hercs latest in the RO and I’m wondering if we’re going after Dybala/GLC/BF (all 3), but if we were to agree with a Coutinho we’d stop with he and Dybala. Likely due to wage differences? Imagine BF and GLC wages are equal to one of Dybala and Coutinho.

This is going to sound picky, but...

It’ll be a shame if this is at the cost of Lo Celso.

Dybala and GLC is the ideal

This whole thing is so unexpected

To be honest, I would have thought Bruno is exactly Poch's kind of player. Runs his socks off and doesn't give up.

Been suggested in the media that he wasn't originally on one of our lists but Poch signed off on him. As such I'd probably put a long term target like Lo Celso and a potentially worldy like his countryman Dybala ahead of him.

Cheers for the info Breezer but that’s pretty depressing. All the quality targets we are linked too and we’re going to end up signing the bang average player we were linked to who is highly likely to flop.

Considering they are costing about the same amount of money, Poch must have decided BF is better than GLC if it's one or the other.

I'm still ridiculously hoping that we are signing both BF and GLC and Dybala is just an unexpected opportunistic signing which Levy has decided to go for all guns blazing as a sign to Poch of his backing.

We can dream.

Imagine we need to get all 4 to the point of ready to sign, so that if one of the deals falls through for our preferred 2, a replacement is ready to bring in straight away

I mean yeah. Dybala's been well known for ages, and I was slightly miffed when lo Celso went to betis last year for not a lot. Would have been the perfect option for us

Even if he’s the plan B to, let’s say Lo Celso, at least we had a good plan b lined up in case we couldn’t get the plan a. That in itself is refreshing.

I deleted my post as thefierycamel made the exact same point, but since you've quoted it, I'll answer. Yeah, I knew about Lo Celso as well, from when he was at PSG.

Not for me, I don’t rate him at all. One paced and likely to be bang average in a fast paced league like the Prem.

Will almost certainly join our list of expensive flops imo and was the one player I didn’t want us to sign.
