Too many meh performances tonight. Eriksen, Kane, Dele, N'Dombele , Sanchez all just meh. Won't win many CL games with so many underperformers. Thought Winks and Moura were the stand outs.

Missed most of that. Did Pochettino really play Sanchez at right back again? ?
Questions will have to be asked if poch keeps making horrendous decisions like this

Top teams don't keep giving away 2 goal leads, and any really top team knows with a 2 nil lead approaching HT you don't fucking concede. Simeone would absolutely destroy the Premier league. Teach a team to defend and you'll not go far wrong.
That's during our first two seasons with Poch. Probably one of the best defence in Europe.

How it goes south I don't know.

Why leave Aurier at home. It's very odd. Of Kane can play 3 games a week but Aurier can't?

Bull.

Yep especially when poch challenges him to continue his form after the game on Saturday then drops him straight away?‍♂️

Good result, reasonable performance.

A lot of totally ludicrous criticism in this thread.
Exactly, as fat Frank would point out theres 2 parts to the cl group stage and knock outs
I'm happy with an away point in the former, christ knows what it would be like in here if we had lost

Fuck me, the overreactions in here. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a great watch, but it's like Saturday never happened.

*Logs on after long day at Conference mildly happy to get a point away at Olympiacos who have stunning form at home.

Reads last page.

Sees all the posters strangely missing from the Palace match thread are swarming.

*Logs out to make popcorn.

Bad performance *away in the champions League* but yeah all the loonies are unfortunately back out again now smearing shit all over the walls

You’re going to struggle to convince me that Aurier, a guy who played only 17 games for us last season, wasn’t fit enough to start a second consecutive game when the likes of Kane, Winks, etc will no doubt play 3 games in 7 days.

Only Winks stood out as any player who wanted to get something out of the game. I think it's time we asked some serious questions about Poch and the state of this squad.
Question the state of this squad... definately. Not Poch’s fault.

Questions about Poch. Seriously? Be careful what you you wish for. We’ll be changing our manager every year.

Really pissed off with this 2 up thinking in the bag then attack of the Spursy!!! Never bloody learn! If Poch thinks Sanchez is a right back then we're in trouble!! Shocking!! Davies was no better. He needs to be so wary of Leicester Saturday because with their width we could be trouble. He needs to draft Rose and Aurier back in a.s.a.p but even that doesn't fill me with confidence away from home. At least we didn't lose but this is a step backwards after Saturday god this team winds me up or is it just Poch's poor tactics of late, why Sanchez at right back, why!!! Fix it COYS!!!

I think thats exactly the reason for the reaction. We wanted to push on from Saturday and show similar form but as someone else mentioned, that result and performance looks like an exception.

There needs to be a serious inquisition as to why alli and Lamela didny play a simple pass for kane to score simple tap ins

Its totally unacceptable

There's no continuity. It certainly doesn't help in developing form. I can understand if he's taken a knock or something. But if he was fit it's just such poor management imo.

Sorry, but I don't agree Olympiakos is good. Just see Red Star getting 3 points over them and Bayern thrashing them.

They left so much space at the back but we were so poor and slow to capitalise even on counter. On normal attacking possession we are just passing the balls sideways with no intention or creativity to open them up. This team suits us to play lot of early balls behind their defence and we could tear them apart but nobody bloody did that significantly.

Red Star will be an even more difficult challenge and if we are satisfied with just a point tonight, we may regret that decision.

A huge two points dropped tonight and it will be another tough journey to advance to the knock out stage IF we continue with such form.

Agreed. Olympiakos are bang average, we were shite and it’s another two points dropped from a leading position.

Thanks for all the memories, Poch, but it's time to say goodbye. We've been on a downward trajectory for two years now, and he clearly doesn't have any idea how to fix it. For a top squad like ours to be losing 2-goal leads so casually is unacceptable, we are back to Jol/Ramos form away from home, and there's little leadership and even less game management in evidence in a squad he's had control of for over five seasons. The sooner one side or another admits that he's done great things but we need somebody else to take the next step, the less damage we'll see done.
lol

Very decent away point against a decent side who are hard to beat at home. My gripe is how lazy and disinterested half our team looked tonight. The lack of width and tempo I've kinda of accepted wont change any time soon. Thought Sanchez had a decent game considering he was being asked to do something isn't familiar with. Eriksen, dele and kane playing like they have for a while. Wanting too many touches and have grown to comfortable.
