This is a very difficult one to swallow. VAR -- based on the two completely arbitrary decisions of which frame to analyze and where the shoulder of each player was -- completely turned the game on its head.

That being said Poch made a massive, massive, massive error by bringing Wanyama on. It's a sad story but he's completely finished at this level. When he comes on it's the opposite of shoring up the midfield.

Tough one to stomach but Poch shouldn't escape criticism just because of the injustice of the arbitrary VAR decision going against us.

Maddison would walk into our side. Shows how useless we have been in the transfer window for the past few season. We still dont have any decent creative players like him

He's been backed as well. Got his players. No excuses this year
2 players was NEVER enough. Never, ever was it enough. We needed a minimum of 6 players this summer, a complete MF3, 2 FBs, and cover/replacement for CE (and probably Harry too). 2 first team players and 2 projects was not enough. Only the happy clappers that think all of our players are world class were happy with 2 players. Now were are putting too much expectation on Ndombele and GLC to change the stagnation.

Massive over reaction in here... we are still paying for the Newcastle game which no one can excuse the performance that day. But seriously we were not that bad today just didn’t take our chances,

Seen us play a hell of a lot worse in the past six months.

As I said earlier barring the Wanyama substitution I personally haven’t got too many complaints.

Should have gotten something from that game. Missed too many chances. Unfortunately we can't defend anymore.

Cant resist chiming in after that. Only saw the second half, but a miserable experience and (on my standards and tastes when it comes to football) a rancid display. The complete transformation into Redknapp-style lazy open lottery bollocks - win, lose, or, draw - football is nearly complete.
