January?!? Mother of Mercy...if this keeps up, he won't see Christmas. Spade a spade and all that.

The results speak for themselves...though more worrying are the performances as a team first and foremost, then the individual performances are actually worse!!!

Say what you see CHIPS

No chance. Only a madman wouldn’t buy a single player in two consecutive windows and Poch ain’t no madman
But Poch refused the players he was offered, only wanted deJong? who did not want to come, so perhaps he is a madman that did not want to buy a layer.

Neil Ashton at it again

The problem is Poch and his failure to unequivocally pass on the message to his employer and his players that he is staying.
I can't disagree with this bit.

You really think any fans of any of the clubs he's won trophies for give 2 hoots about that?

This is why I was talking about snobbishness.
Beggars cant be choosers.

Winner winner chicken dinner.

People act like that’s it. No more entertaining football FOR LIFE!! It’s Jose, he’d be here like two seasons and then fuck off.

Not only that Riggs, its hardly like we play champagne football for 90 minutes every week, or that Jose teams have never played attractive football ever.

In recent memory Poch football is more like Carling than champagne.

Talking of Carling, check out what I’ve put in the West Ham thread.

Professional footballers. Hilarious.

They are man childs.

No sense of responsibility.

'I don't like it, it's booooring'

Fuck 'em and whatever intellectually and emotionally stunted imbecile said this.
Disagree.

How many people have left a job cause they were bored of doing the same thing over and over and felt like they were no longer progressing? It's just the same.

In fact it's a good attitude to have as they're basically saying "give me something new".

He won't but Poch should be thinking about getting some new assistant coaches with other ideas. Fergie kept things fresh and added longevity by doing this.

Who said it...

What, are training sessions supposed to be a panoply of variety? Is it supposed to be something like:

Monday: five-a-side
Tuesday: archery
Wednesday: BBQ-pit construction with Alan Titchmarsh
Thursday: colouring with crayons
Friday: Hot-air balloon piloting lessons

And the following week consisting of musical chairs and a nice trip to the seaside.

Surely training is training?

EDIT: the above might sound like I’m having a go at you @Shadydan . For the record, I very much AM. I blame you for not creating better training sessions! :p:playful:

We have struggled to unlock teams that sit back. On the training ground is where this is supposed to be fixed. Results - and our continuing struggles against the league's less ambitious sides - suggests that a "rinse and repeat" approach to training might be a real problem.
