Watching the press conference I feel really sorry for Poch, he is fighting against something that cannot be changed or fixed until January and trying to make do. Watching him, you would think we were battling relegation and knee deep in shit - we arent that.

Levy has got to just help Poch in January and not wait till January but sort shit out now so that January 1st - things happen immediately.

Gonna be a great nine days starting with SCBC - gonna hammer them COYSSSSSSSSSSSS
Poch can fix things before Jan. he's ostracised players before, he can do it again if certain players don't want to be here

He's got Ndombele in who he wanted. GLC and Sess both injured, so they are out of the equation

If Rose is an issue, don't pick him, Eriksen, don't pick him. If Verts is an issue, don't pick him.

He's got Lamela fit, something he's not properly had and someone who will run through brick walls for him, Foyth coming back, Big Dave, these players can come in and do a job for him as they are his players.

So yes, we can get by until January, get a siege mentality going, lose the players who don't want to be here and start playing some good football. We really have a good squad of players.

Just to add. Fat Frank is hardly experienced, he's got a transfer ban, relying on shit loads of kids and to be fair, they seem to be playing for him. A far less experienced squad than we have. If he can do it, Poch can do it....if he wants to.

The team selection on Saturday/Tuesday will be v interesting but I still expect Eriksen/Aurier/Tobt/Jan/Rose to feature heavily.

If he’s gonna turn this around, and get rid of players - then I see the need for quite a few new faces. A CD is a cert (I really like Lascelles at Newcastle as a defender and potential leader, from what I’ve seen). LB may be why Sess is here. Still need a RB too. Probably a winger who can also play up top on their own, and a DM specialist (Berge?). There’s a lot to do, and maybe this is why he said ‘a painful’ rebuild?

I am very much in the Poch in camp. People need to remember where we were before he arrived.
If however he does decide to leave then Allegri would be an incredible appointment
Can people stop making it sounds like we were relegation candidates before Pochettino took over. He has done a fantastic job but people really do make it sound like we competing with West Ham prior to his arrival ffs

Yes, JJ has confirmed Poch dislikes Mitchell.

Saw about Mitchel on sky sports today so thought I’d search SC and found this interesting post.

Seems really odd as thought Mitchell joined us on Poch recommendation??

Makes you wonder also if we’d perhaps have a better squad if he had stayed as is a good talent spotter, it true about Poch it makes him look even more stubborn.

He's clearly fucking good at his job either way.

We won’t do any deals in January. Don’t do it to yourselves. It will be the usual bullshit excuses of it being too hard to trade. Yet lots of teams do manage it. Just not us!

Any players we sign in January will be lucky to play the last 3 games in the season after getting up to speed with Poch's tactics and fitness regime.

Fitness regime shouldn't be a problem these days, we play at a snails pace ?

The mood seems to have lighten up. Good.

Let's see the performance now on Saturday. Still have my reservation.

The mood lightened up before and after the Palace game.

Problem is no matter what the mood is, if we don’t find a way to stop conceding so many goals then we will continue to have problems. And if this so called faction with “different agendas” involves Toby, Verts and Rose then that is the majority of our defence that may end up sidelined. I don’t see that helping the situation.

The only player who is affected by his agenda is Eriksen. Toby, Jan and Rose don't show it so obviously in games.

Yeah I agree, I’m just responding to some of the speculation, and some fans views about that the only way to address the issues is a mass clear out.

Some of the Journo questions are quite fluffy. Do they get censored by the PR team?

Hopefully. It’s all a pointless exercise really. I doubt the managers enjoy it unless there is something they particularly want off their chests.
