He needs come come crashing back down to reality then. At what stage did Maguire finally sign for Man U? When did Arsenal get Tierney and Pepe wrapped up? He needs to understand that for a club like us, the cost of the player matters and if that means we get a certain player £15m-£20m less because we play a game of who blinks first then so be it.

Poch loves to make excuses. Look at how many teams have signed players who have taken to the game well yet with Poch he always needs a couple of months to get players to understand his oh so intrinsic style. We currently have 6 wins from our last 24 league games, why does he genuinely not think that blooding newbies wouldn't have made a different kind of impact to a team that is clearly playing sluggishly.

The guy makes rods for his own back. Everyone can see how feeble Eriksen is playing at the moment so what does he do... he plays him for 111 minutes and gives someone like Sessegnon 30 seconds. Poch is to blame for a lot of stuff but he loves to point ringers at where he's been unrealistic and say this is the reason why. His excuses have given the players a reason to play shit and he has slowly sucked all the fun out of it through his constant refusal to accept that our club needs to operate differently due to the unique circumstances of a new stadium build. If you ask me he's acting like a complete joke more often than not. Suck if up, you get paid a fortune! I believe he's the highest paid manager in the game to not win a major trophy, he needs to appreciate that and get things back on track again.

I think it was more likely to be this. Was stood right behind the goal in ye olde neutral end, and half missed it as I had already started to look upfield in the reasonable expectation he was going to either throw or kick. My bad.

I know it's the winter window, but if they want to do business and the player says yes, then spend that 50m. A midfield three from Zakaria, N'Dombele, Dele, GLC and Winks should be good enough to keep us going for years.
