There are certainly one or two players who's hearts I'd like to cut out with a spoon after last night's display....

Sorry, Ricki, but for what purpose?Hose is far smarter than Levy when it comes to this. Levy has just fucked himself.

Do you honestly believe that Mourinho knows that he's a 'busted flush' and so went about building a whole new coaching team just so he could put one over a football club owner for a job?
There are a couple of flaws with that argument:
1) Mourinho would have had loads of offers from other clubs long before we approached him - if he was just looking for a payday, he would have been back in work long before we even thought about replacing Pochettino;
2) Why bother taking the time to find new coaches? Just pick four or five randoms and sit back and wait for the offers;
3) He was being paid for his punditry, so it's not as if he was wandering around Wood Green High Street asking for spare change;
4) Even if Mourinho was that busted flush, there is no way on Earth he believes that about himself. And that's nothing to do with him being who he is. Very few people would admit, even to themselves that they can't cut it anymore. So again even if he was incompetent, Mourinho will have taken the job because he believes he can do it, not because he believes he can't so set out to hoodwink poor, innocent Daniel.
We're in a very painful time for the club right now. We've had a truly gut-wrenching season. Results like last night's don't help. But this ridiculous throwing around of frustration - by all of us - is not going to help matters. All it will do is continue to wind ourselves and each other up.
Whatever the ins and outs of it, Levy made a decision based on the situation on the ground, Mourinho is here to do his best, Pochettino was not able to turn it around. These are the facts. We should accept those and look forward, not sit there navel-gazing and throwing ire and blame at everything cockerel-branded in an effort to alleviate our frustration, or worse pursue a pointless and meaningless agenda.
Let's say Mourinho crashes and burns. Big deal. All the doubters will be proven right. What do you get for 'winning' the argument? Will you have it engraved on your tombstones - "I was right about Jose"? Come on.
Bad result last night. We pick ourselves, dust ourselves off and
FUCKING
GO
AGAIN!
Rant over.
P.S. - I feel I may have just unloaded on you Ricki, which was not a nice thing to do. Be assured it's not personal - I think it was just a straw-and-camel situation.

Don't bother with him mate, it's a waste of time.
What?!?
There was a never ending dribble of complaints about walkers brain-farts. It was only once he went to City that everyone started raving about his brilliance...
You're replying to the clear favourite for SC's coveted, Stupidest Newcomer award 2019.Sorry, Ricki, but for what purpose?

Perhaps you should ask Mum and Dad for a reading book for Xmas?me? Stupid, this from an (I’m assuming adult) that needed to ask where to buy fucking glasses from? Yeah. I’m stupid.
if you carry on like this I won’t be buying you the my little pony lego set you put on your list to Santa.
"the Utd fans were seriously loud throughout and really up for it. "Got back late from the match last night so didn't post, but my thoughts:
We were really really poor for the first half hour or so. 2 or 3 good saves from Gazzanigga or squandered chances from Utd kept us in it. We could've been 2 or 3 down at by 30 mins in on another day. They were sharper and more aggressive all over the pitch. We looked like a Sunday league team who'd all had far too big a night the night before. Final 10mins of the half we started to wake up a bit and create some chances, ultimately resulting in an excellent goal from Alli. That meant we could go in at half time level and I was hoping we'd regroup and start again/come out fighting in the second half. Unfortunately the penalty virtually in the first minute put a rather swift end to that, much like the CL final one. We then reverted back to our first half hour performace where we looked really lacklustre. Final 5 mins or so we created a few chances but I think that was as much to do with Utd sitting back and us chucking the kithen sink at them as anything, rather than because we were playing well.
All in all, we were poor and Utd were probably the best I've seen them in a long time. I was watching it from the Stretford End and the Utd fans were seriously loud throughout and really up for it. I don't remember hearing a single Spurs song but then I don't really blame them cos the team looked like they couldn't be arsed either for most of it.
Ultimately though, a 2-1 away defeat to Utd isn't a poor result in the grand scheme of things, the performance was just frustrating. This could've been a chance for Jose/us to confirm that we're "back" from the rut we've been stuck in but again we fell into the same old habits and proved that we aren't.
Perhaps you should ask Mum and Dad for a reading book for Xmas?
The thread was regarding the best place to get glasses...I presume you struggled with that word hun?
Bookies will suspend the betting now, the award's as good as yours.
Try to be better, Thicky.

i was in the away end and we sang. not constantly but we sang. From where i was most of the stadium sounded silent except a group down the corner behind the home end goal

He's just scored, so time to rake in the chips... Just playing. I actually like sissoko.I said this in another match thread, I think he's gone in the summer. That's not me necessarily wanting him gone, just that I think he will be sold. His value will be fairly high.
I like him as well. But he's not going to take us anywhere.He's just scored, so time to rake in the chips... Just playing. I actually like sissoko.
There has to be a reason that every manager he's played under has made him a secondary or even primary taker. The reason is that he bangs them in in training (not unexpected from a player with his overall finishing ability).Two actually but both deflections. He shouldn't take free kicks.
Alright Brendan......
