Words to live by.Moral of the story.... never give it large halfway through the season. It will almost always come back to fuck you in the arse.

Don't forget the old "Ref was biased" bit as well

Wolves fans clearly a bit delusional with their assessment of the game and the ref. The latter was fine, in terms of the decisions they made. Felt like he was fair.
As for them wiping the floor with us.... that depends on perspective. Yes, they dominated us in midfield. And had some lovely build-up play. But the reality is they only carved us open for good chances, about three or four times max. Arguably, Traore's goal was more of a half-chance, that should've been blocked by Jan. (watch the replay of the goal, he moves his body out of the way from the ball, probably expecting to be hit by it). Whereas we had about three or four good chances as well, and scored two of them.
Doesn't much matter how much beautiful football you play, if it doesn't translate to chances. Which is something they lacked on the day.
Leicester don’t like us because of the 61 FA Cup final and the 99 Worthington Cup. I have no clue what Wolves problem is. Most of their fans I have met where sound. That was a fair few years ago though when they were not in the top division. Is it something in the midlands?
Teams that have been shit for ages suddenly get a good team and then their fans grow massive chips on their shoulders. They seem to want to spend more time moaning and being bellends than enjoying their teams football. Only just catching the extended highlights now as I was on holiday, but their fans in the stadium seem to audibly never stop moaning.

Why so much hate for the midlands here?
I generally think the midlands is pretty good at not having a chip on their shoulder. Outside of football it seems to be a place you don't hear much from and are generally ignored. If I was new to the country and followed the news you'd think the UK consisted of five areas:
- London
- The North
- Scotland
- Northern Ireland
- Wales
Sorry to go OT.
The expected goals (xG) shows we deserved the win. Both teams had 5 shots on target - ours were the better chances. Really, Dier should have scored the easiest chance of the match and Dele also had a 1 on 1 which I think he made look harder that it was.

Expected goals? That's a new one for me!!!! How on earth is that measured?!

Quite the contrary. xG is brilliant. There is a certain randomness to goals - xG evaluates this. Obviously difficult to objectively evaluate every chance, but it very often gives a much better overview of the game than goals do.
With AI I could see xG becoming more and more important for coaches, scouts etc.
