Only at Tottenham could we finally spend proper money on a player, then change manager, who don’t fancy said player.

i just don’t understand how any manager could just ‘not fancy’ him, when the other options they are faced with are Winks/Sissoko/Dier.

its baffling and worrying.

Not fit enough to play today and Saturday so rested today is my guess. Sess didn't make the bench against Chelsea but starts today. Hopefully Ndombele starts Saturday.

After today we play Saturday and NYD so possibly he may be utilising the squad and giving Ndombele a rest.
Not sure when he’s going to rest Toby, Sanchez, Verts, Aurier, Dele, Kane etc but obviously Ndombele has played such a lot he’s the first to need a break?

Really is odd not to even make the squad. Only thing I can think of is he was maybe off it in training and just been left out completely or maybe a run in with Mourinho? Even if we wanted to save him for Norwich, surely he would have been on the bench today. He is so far ahead of the likes of Sissoko, Winks and Dier in terms of technical proficiency, just depressing thinking he isn't even an option today.

Mourinho is quite simply not a Spurs manager, he's a winner in the George Graham Mould.
He does'nt understand the Spurs supporter.

Glenn Hoddle, Paul Gascoigne would not have played under these managers just think about that.

Poch didn’t fancy him much either - clearly an issue with the players attitude or fitness.
Don’t make it about the coach....

Posted a few weeks back they had a argument before training and since Ndombele only played a few mins.

idea got knocked back by certain “itk” but the person who told me I trust.

Great, our only midfield option with real technical ability and he ends up having a barney with the manager. To be honest, seeing the whole fitness thing is a worry. Yes injuries haven't helped but his general stamina/fitness has been pretty concerning considering we are heading into January.

Maybe explains the links with Soumare.

Two players. Honestly I'm not normally one to get worked up about starting line ups before a game, but this has pissed me off no end. Its so obvious how much better Ndombele is than every other midfielder in our squad, how can Jose not see that!?

How about a simple fitness explanation, in that he wasn’t fully fit on Sunday which is why he was on the bench and got 1/2 hour’s play time, and the recommended gap before his next game is a week, not 4 days?

Since were all guessing and don’t really know anything, I’d prefer a less negative and speculative interpretation than the manager “doesn’t fancy him”, or the equivalent, especially since he’s evidently not yet fully adjusted to Premier League levels of fitness anyway.
