As I just said, him and Kane looked fucked and offered absolute zero against Norwich. What did we expect would happen today with another short turnaround? We got what was to be expected, two even more fucked players offering even less. When we have such a limited gameplan entirely revolving around quick transitions up front then this is going to affect you big time, and they may as well have been given a breather for all the use they will be. But no, ploughed on and Kane's got injured. Terrible selection and management for me.

Everyone believed the media hype that we didn't need new players, e.g redknapp saying how do you improve on dele, Eriksen etc... But the truth is probably that Poch had 100% of their maximum growth 3 years ago. I think Son still has a little bit more growth to come but the others have gone past their peak. Massive errors made by the club. There is no chance in hell that they're good enough to compete for the title

So it's Levy and Levy alone who decides who will be sold and who will be signed. It always amazes me when people forget that there's always the second and often the third part involved when you try to sell or buy. And I just can't forget the ITK's that the money has been there for Poch to spend.

Lucas has 1 good game in what 4/5? And trying to defend him with shortcomings that Kane faces but saying Kane is just as bad really don’t help your arguement.
It’s the last kick of the game 1 defender and keeper to beat, who do you want Kane or Lucas?

we looked sluggish all day, which given that all teams are in the same boat fixtures wise, is simply not good enough. Jan and Toby can't play together anymore, especially not without a proper defensive minded midfielder protecting them. hopefully given time jose can turn this round as we've been as poor as i can remember since chelsea.

Because the best manager would drop those who don't perform. Yes, Poch made some mistakes, like any manager would, but the problem was, he did everything to help individuals and the team but those who Poch put faith into didn't give anything back to him.

Lucas scored some very important goals last champions League campaign, right? He can score. Fact! But I'm not talking about Lucas going through on goal.
Who do I trust in the ball out wide? Lucas
Who I trust in the penalty area? Kane
But there is a process in between Lucas and Kane where an option needs to be created for a chance to be created.

Time for changes. Minimum 3 new signings in January. Minimum 3 youngsters promoted. New formation with square pegs in square holes. Underperforming players dropped or sold. Find a settled XI and stick with it.
Write this season off and build for next year. Then bring in 3 or 4 more players in the summer. Complete rebuild including a DoF, ideally Campos from Lille.
