It's not over yet.Ah well, same shit, different window
This last week has been fun though.
I'm a vegetarian and if I'm given a menu full of offal I'm not eating it1. Llorente JM said no!
2. Benteke JM said no!
3. Can’t remember his name, but striker playing in Portugal-permit issues
4. Mario Balotelli JM was not against. But don’t trust dealing with Italian clubs after recent experiences. The offer was 6 month loan, covering his wages. If happy, talk in summer. His club started to play games, and we had not even engaged, so backed off
5. Willian Josè was offered as loan with option. Certainly NOT obligation! Hence us going cold
6. KP (Polish striker from Milan). Agreed ALL . Loan with OPTION. Changed last minute to wanting Foyth/Lamela in similar deal.
How on earth we are going to blame DL is beyond me!
Which genuinely good enough striker have you seen move clubs for a reasonable fee/ deal this window, a deal you’d be happy with at Spurs for a player who will only ever be second choice?
Name him ?
Bad examples mate, how many strikers do Chelsea and United have in their squad?
Yeah, I've said that a couple of times but the cynic in me has been here more than once so I'm running with thatIt's not over yet.
While we certainly could have used a striker, looking at that list of potentials it isn't exactly like missing out on Dybala again.
The main thing I hope is that when Kane gets healthy again, we don't forget the lesson that we obviously need another fucking striker to back him up and lighten his workload.
This summer there's no excuses not to bring in a young back-up striker of quality, plenty of options around.

Reasonable fee? What is that?
Why do they have to be second choice? Why can't they provide competition for Kane and play up front with him if necessary?
There is always an excuse made for Levy. Our windows are always the same, whoever the manager. The one constant is Levy.
By the way, I don't like signings for the sake of signings but your only striker is injured on the first day of the transfer window, your manager states in every bloody press conference he needs a striker and yet we can't find one in the whole of the world? A ready made excuse for JM.
We can only do options due to financial balancing. Option has to be in our favour.
We won’t entertain obligation as effects our balance sheet. As Bank commitment would be needed.
summer different matter ?

United have martial and greenwood?United have no strikers, Chelsea have 3. What has that got to do with the fact they couldn't get ones in when they wanted to?
It just leaves you wondering what happened to all the money we were willing to spend on Dybala last summer. Seems we always have money to spend but then it disappears when time comes to spending it. I understand we had the manager swap, but that’s not all upfront money, so I’m still left wondering. We can only do options due to financial balancing. Option has to be in our favour.

Been going on for as long as I remember ?Yeah, I've said that a couple of times but the cynic in me has been here more than once so I'm running with that
