Only one I can compare too (south American instead on Europe so might be different is Chelsea signing Kendry Paez for around 17 million. 16 also but transfer won't go through until he's 18.

Not sure if they technically loan him back to them or if it's just a contract agreed for the future.

According to everyone's favourite twitter agent we can apply for a GBE. (Governing Body Endorsement) and still sign him.

As the UK is no longer an EU or EEA state, do we really have access to the exception for under 18 players? I'm fairly certain he can be signed but isn't allowed to join until he's 18 because of this. Would be interesting if the GBE is applicable though.

This is why we need to buy someone in Belgium or Holland like other teams do so we can send signings like this there to play and develop

Yeah they were the original multi club investors. Rangers and Slavia Prague I think among a couple of others.
