The nerve of Southampton fans whinging about diving after Bertrand’s antics at the Lane this season.
What annoyed me was the huge exaggeration by Aguero, he was as barely touched from a standing position and threw himself over. The contact did not warrant the reaction.
Sonny was running full pelt and any contact would unbalance him. Not every situation is identical. This is where the officials using VAR are falling down, which is horrifying as they are supposed to understand the game.

Nonsense! Jose and a few pundits insisted it was not a penalty as Aurier got the ball first. Is lying a habit of yours?I don’t think it took them 2 minutes with the Man C pen, I think they got fed up waiting for the ball to go out of play so eventually told the ref to stop play. And they conclusively showed Aurier did not get the ball. Everyone - pundits, even Jose - all agreed it was a penalty.
Seems unnecessarily aggressive!Nonsense! Jose and a few pundits insisted it was not a penalty as Aurier got the ball first. Is lying a habit of yours?

Because Jose and a few pundits were adamant it was not a penalty and I am sure the poster knew it.Seems unnecessarily aggressive!
I love how you can extract part of what Jose said and interpret it as he accept it as a penalty. The essence of Jose point is, he does not mind waiting a few minutes for a VAR decision, IF it is the truth. But against City the wait resulted in a decision which was not the truth. Hence why he compared it with goal line technology saying he loves goal line technology as it always shows the true result.Wow. Just wow. I bet you cannot provide any evidence to support your *opinion* (seeing as you so rudely accused me of lying).
1. Aurier did not touch the ball and it was definitely a penalty. If you cannot agree that I am wasting my time as you clearly have no understanding of football.
2. Everyone on TV (UK Sky Broadcast) agreed it was a stone wall penalty, inc. commentator, co-commentator and all the studio pundits.
3. Jose definitely accepted it was a penalty and added that he did not mind the delay as they got it right, which was the most important thing: "I love the truth... playing for three minutes and then after three minutes, the VAR gives a penalty, then if it's a penalty no problem. We can wait 10 minutes. I just want the truth."
4. What Jose moaned about with regards to VAR in this match was Sterling's tackle on Dele which he thought deserved a straight red card.
You could still have played nice by writing the first part of your post and leaving out the personal attack.Because Jose and a few pundits were adamant it was not a penalty and I am sure the poster knew it.
Yes on second thoughts I admit I over reacted. I thought on national TV and press these information should be easily accessible to allYou could still have played nice by writing the first part of your post and leaving out the personal attack.

As for sterling's tackle on dele, that was a separate part of his full interview.
Eric, come on. I know you will defend Aurier no matter what, but using pundits' - or even Mourinho's - opinion as "evidence" to then accuse someone of lying is out of order.Nonsense! Jose and a few pundits insisted it was not a penalty as Aurier got the ball first. Is lying a habit of yours?
When they fall down, is it a dive? What annoyed me was the huge exaggeration by Aguero, he was as barely touched from a standing position and threw himself over. The contact did not warrant the reaction.

Just because there is contact (which in this case is questionable) doesn't mean it was a foul. Aguero threw himself to the ground. It was a dive. It shouldn't have been a penalty and should have been a yellow for 'simulation'. The fact that anybody thinks otherwise tells me the extent that low standards of behaviour have become acceptable.Agree, although I have no idea why everyone’s debating whether the Aurier/Aguero incident was a penalty. It was a clear penalty when you saw it from the correct angle. And not to mention a totally needless challenge.

Apart from anything else, it's fucking sad that blatant cheating is not only a part of the game, it is an acceptable part of the game.
If the replay was of the same play then of course he did.He dived during the replay too
