Cue the post game excuses. Because we all know that having both strikers injured means shipping three goals each game in headless chicken fashion.
Mourinho`s reputation these days is only about scorched earth, and somebody better realise their mistake before the fire spreads.

i really don’t know what to say anymore.

i’m so disappointed with our club. in the last couple of years we’ve seized mediocrity from the jaws of the success.

i really don’t know how i can see out the remainder of the season, let alone how this team and manager can. and the best part of it - Levy won’t change. Enic won’t change.

The reactions on here are pathetic. For the vast majority of that we were the better team - which we've not been able to say much recently, even in games where we've won.
Because Wolves were far from the team they can be and played Thursday.

I hate this season I hate it so much

Lucas Moura is playing like a 20 year old who you say to yourself give him time, he needs time to develop. His first touch is shit, his passing is woeful fucks every attack up, his movement isn’t good. Painfully average player can’t understand how he starts every game even with our injuries. Tired of watching him every game

And Dier is finished we knew that so why did Mourinho start him? Why did we sign Gedson (nothing against his signing) instead of a DM, the position we need to strengthen the most? Every game it takes one pass from the opponent to get past the midfield and then our defence isn’t good enough to stop most attacks.

Alli is such a frustrating player. His movement is world class but his finishing is so inconsistent and he takes so long with the ball, makes sloppy passes or try a unnecessary nutmeg. He’s not a kid anymore he needs to cut those things of his game now or he will never develop

We need a miracle for top 4 now, fuck this season man

Context-wise that’s a very good Wolves team with (all?) of their regulars available?

We’re missing our two best players and even before that have massive holes in squad that are not Jose’s fault.

So yeah maybe point fingers the chairman a little as he has overseen this squad for last few seasons (and a little annoyance at Poch for his involvement in leaving us in a shit state) but Jose needs a summer before we can start slating him.

Tanganga also has been doing well so he made the call to drop Toby who has been shaky, so he’s trying to find solutions and at least seems aware of where we are lacking rather than stubbornly ignoring them.
Would not have mattered when you can't undertake basic defending you have no chance, this team is just not very good a lot of work and money is needed

Every club that man has been at he's left in nasty circumstances. Nothing is getting better until he's gone. Maybe he'll shithouse his way to an FA Cup, and of course I'd celebrate it. But the optimism for our long term future under Poch has been extinguished.
Not happy with Jose tbh & wouldn't mind seeing him walk, however, Poch extinguished the optimism himself anyway. Jose is just making it worse, but not entirely his fault - the team is ravaged and I would say that's remnants of what Poch has left behind tbh.

We are far from Top 4 level. Its not just the injuries. Yes Aurier played well as did Lo Celso and Tanganga had his hands full and I think is going to be great. But the rest were between shit and mediocre but closer to shit

OK, everyone over to the League Cup thread to self-flagellate about not buying Grealish.

No wonder we're a laughing stock, if the reactions on here are anything to go by we get everything coming to us.

Moan about the prices, moan about the cost, moan about the players (including a 20 year old from our academy) the manager, the chairman, the stadium ...

We aren't entitled to a fucking thing. We're Spurs.

Have at it.

I hope we dont give Mourinho serious investment. Seen nothing to suggest he would win us something. We arent even missing that many players. How can you set us up to play 5 at the back and then let them have so much space to attack. He moaned when he came he didnt have time to work on the training pitch, well hes had time now and if anything we are worse. All you hear from him are piss poor excuses.

Fuck off Winks. He's so lightweight and so poor in passing. Go relook at his positionings throughout the game and see how static he was. Balls didn't go through him because his channels were all blocked being so static and we became so predictable going to the right.

His highest level is at Everton. Scram.

Sounds like an improvement as we actually scored two goals. Maureen also played less centre backs than I expected. I assume we attacked non stop and they got lucky break away goals?

So glad I had work so couldn’t waste my time and more money going.

I agree re optimism. Disagree that we’ll get anywhere near an FA Cup.
