I think he's 100% good enough talent wise. Whether he succeeds is another matter and depends a lot on formation, team shape, attitude and his relationship with the manager.As unpopular an opinion as it may be, and despite the fact that I personally don't want it to be true...
...perhaps he's just not good enough.
He's never played for an elite club, in an elite league for an elite manager before.
And now he's being asked to do so and appears to be failing.
It might just be as simple as that.
I have full confidence that there are managers out there who would manage to get the best of out Tanguy, either by motivating him, coddling him or by building the team around him.
Jose clearly isn't one of those managers so Tanguy is going to have to really fight for his place in the team at Spurs.
If he fails here I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up a success at another big club, though.
