At 5’7” most things would be highly something for you...Extremely small? As someone that is 5'7" I find this highly offensive....?

Buying Aarons and having 2 fullbacks playing like a normal fullbacks would be even better.I’d rather just switch the dynamic and try Sessegnon as the attacking left back and Tanganga as the defensive right back than shell out on Aarons.
Im old enough to remember Chris McGrath and Gerry Armstrong!I would LOVE that - not only because I think he is a good player but because he would be the first NI international I've had the pleasure of watching for Spurs for a very long time.

Exactly this !! This lopsided formation is awfulOr just buy fullbacks that can defend and attack like other teams do. I’m not convinced these lopsided tactics are doing much use.
Insane to me we’ve built a formation around fucking serge aurierExactly this !! This lopsided formation is awful

That was just smart idea with new manager in middle of the Season and fact that rightback options werent availableInsane to me we’ve built a formation around fucking serge aurier
That’s why good scouts are like gold dust.
We’ve scouted Aaron’s when he was tearing up the championship, and waited until we’d seen him in the premier league to get a better idea. Which looks to have backfired because he’s struggled. You could blame it on their wide- open style, but individually he hasn’t stood out at all.
But would bogle fare any better in the prem? Again, hard to say.
Castagne maybe a safer bet, but only because of his CL experience.
One thing is for sure, we’re going to have to trust our scouts judgement because we can’t stick with what we’ve got.
Whilst we were investing in the bricks and mortar, Levy should have also invested in the Scouting dept to ensure more transfers were successful than not. Just like Dortmund and Atletico, that’s what keeps a club of our stature moving forward
Aarons is at maximum 5ft7. Google has that wrong.
Aarons would be a good signing in the Trippier mould. Sign him as a backup. Give him some games in the cup, and when our first choice RB needs a rest, and he might eventually grow into the starting role that Trippier did in 2-3 seasons.
Meunier and Aarons would be solid low cost signings to shore up the right back position.
They’re very predictable and that gaping hole, the one frequently created by Aurier when he charges upfield, is very easy to exploit with the right game planOr just buy fullbacks that can defend and attack like other teams do. I’m not convinced these lopsided tactics are doing much use.

I’m a bit baffled by this as well along with the disdain a lot are showing for Hojbjerg. We’ve got one senior right back who’s massively suspect and not a single recognised defensive midfielder in the squad. And now we’re targeting two players who are both premier league proven, better than what we’ve got and both under the age of 25 so the potential for improvement is there as well. Look at the way Liverpool fleshed their squad out with players from Premier league teams below them. Aarons and Hojbjerg aren’t immediate game-changers but they undoubtedly make us better than we are.Ermmm... how can anyone turn their nose up at Aaron’s when Uarier can’t defend, cross, pass, or get through 30 mins without giving away dangerous free kicks
Exactly this well said ?I’m a bit baffled by this as well along with the disdain a lot are showing for Hojbjerg.
