Maguire’s sister, would you want to drug her? View attachment 72275

Think that's either not her, or a typical tabloid agenda photo (like they did to Gazza a lot).

This is his sister Daisy

Yeah no. Even as a joke can we really not make the 'would you drug her?' kinda jokes?
Like that's some rape-y kinda comments. Be better.

Still seems fishy to me and if he even actually said do you know how I am.

Don't know why, something just doesn’t seem right about the whole thing and I’m not entirely trusting of their justice system in this instance.

What really irks me - Aside from the obvious singling out of Stirling’s behaviour versus Maguire..... I can accept a drunken fight and misdemeanours but Attempts of Bribery and the claim against Albanians is really scaling the barrel.

How ManU and England haven’t taken immediate action following him being found guilty is beyond me.

anyone who's been to the greek islands in summer know they bend over backwards for tourists. they have to make all their income in about 4 months. I cant see the cops rousting Maguire for grins.

How ManU and England haven’t taken immediate action following him being found guilty is beyond me.
According to a statement from Man U as part of a report in today's Guardian,
“The appeal has been accepted and will lead to a full retrial in a more senior court,” Manchester United said. “This means that Harry has no criminal record and is once again presumed innocent until proven guilty. Accordingly, he is not subject to any international travel restrictions.”

At the usual snail's pace of the Greek legal system, Maguire will probably have ceased to be a Man U player by the time the case eventually comes to court...

He will be out on loan and will be first choice at another PL side.
They had to pay him that or he was walking away for free next summer, when they will likely be replacing De Gea

That's still a big blow to him and United. Post-Brexit he'll obviously need a visa if he wants to work abroad, and many countries will not award one to a serious criminal with a custodial sentence for such offences, whether suspended or not. If his appeal isn't successful, it will limit his future options and substantially decrease his transfer value.

I doubt it will have much impact on him. He's 27 already and he's an integral part of Uniteds team so won't be going anywhere for a while. And he doesn't seem the sort of player who would move abroad anyway. Plus it will soon be forgotten like most of the other things that famous players do. I had no idea about this until it was mentioned on a podcast this week:
