The Guardian saying that Monaco are interested, as well as Milan and Bayer Leverkusen.
Surely this is our most likely outgoing to get completed, decent player, reasonable fee. Don’t think it will take too long.

Speaking of obvious outgoings, what on earth is up with Danny Rose? Not a peep of ITK or in the media...

Seemingly no peeps from Rose himself either. Now that is unusual.

Maybe Jose likes Rose as a player I wouldn't be surprised if he did as he was outstanding in our run to CL final and previously but maybe Jose realised he needed to go somewhere and see the grass isn't always greener to get him refocused. Rose did an interview after his Newcastle loan saying he would love to play in front of the spurs fans again if he's back committed and motivated he would be like a new signing.

Mourinho was somewhat critical of Rose recently saying he put him in some big games to try to give Rose an opportunity and he didn’t really show himself well.

Yep, Rose is finished. If we’re planning on setting up the same as last season then we’re reliant on our full/wingbacks providing a quality final ball. Offensively Rose is awful.

Ali golds new article seems to suggest he’s asked to leave

Given he has less than a year to run on his contract we should release him. I know we’ll have to pay up his contract or negotiate a settlement but given his salary we’re not talking big sums in footballing terms. If no one wants him then I would rather get him off the books than have him taking up a squad place and/or moping around for the rest of his contract.

If he wants to leave, we probably could agree just to terminate it, makes roses job easier to find a new club and we won't get a fee. Paying the rest of his contract and losing out on a fee ( even if small) doesn't work in our favour.

Plus Rose would get a year's wage and a nice sized signing on fee!

If we can't find a buyer then sure, but you'd imagine Levy can eke out like £3M from Newcastle, Villa or one of the promoted sides this window. He's still a decent full back on his day and could do a job at a bottom half side.

Jose’s trying to create squad harmony and mentally strong players. Having Rose around isn’t helping. Fair enough if he had a couple of years left on his contract but he’s got 10 months left on his deal as he’s deadwood.

And if Rose is desperate to leave, perfect agreement is he can leave, contract terminated. It's only of he doesn't want to go it's the issue.

His salary is big enough that terminating his contract would be the difference between potentially being able to sign an extra player and not. I don't know what rose is on but say its 50k per week that's still 2.6 million a year.... its not the full value of a backup striker but could be the difference in getting a deal over the line or not or have an affect on the quality of player we can go for. It would be crazy to terminate his contract when we can offer him to clubs for free and not have to terminate.

I'll never understand why some fans feel the need to insult people because they didn't think that they were good at kicking a ball around. As long as the player doesn't outright disrespect the football club, their team mates or their fans then I'll always wish them well.
Totally agree. The guy is not Hossam Ghaly!
