No identity whatsoever, horrible to watch.

Actually almost makes me care less about the excitement of particular transfers now as this doesn't look like a personal problem. We have lost the ability to play football.

What happened at halftime to where we decided to bring sissoko on and completely give up our shape.

It is time that these players took the blame solely now. We had these exact performances under Poch and now we are having them under José.

Winks, Dier, Davies, Sissoko, Lucas all nice guys no doubt but are severely average footballers. I would actually say that none of them would get in the Everton team yet they all got in ours. That says an awful lot.

Saw it coming. Doesn’t make me happy. Look at how Arsenal and Leeds play. It doesn’t take a genius to work out the problem.

At least the TW is still open to get in improvements .
I dont think anyone we bring in will make any difference. The coaching and tactics are utter fucking shite. If JM is still here in the new year I'll be extremely surprised.
Btw I said that last season so its not based off this match.

The lack of effort today was pathetic.

Havnt fell so shit at the start of a season in a long, long time.

And Everton, whilst looking a good outfit, didn't have to get out of second gear in that second half and that's way more down to us than them being amazing, which they'll be lauded.

An incredibly instructive football match. Last season Everton had two really impressive goal scorers (Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin) and essentially a nothing midfield. They’ve brought in three midfielders that have totally changed it for them and were all excellent today.

Our midfield done nothing for over two seasons now since Wanyama and Dembele fell apart due to injuries and Eriksen decided he was no longer interested.

Hojbjerg looks like he’ll do fine shielding the back 4 but this season will come down entirely to Lo Celso’s health and Ndombele’s interest. Anytime Winks and Sissoko are on the pitch together we’re basically fucked.

Pray for Lo Celso and Ndombele, that’s the season right there.

I love Winks, but he Hojbjerg and Sissoko don’t get in to the top central midfields in the league. That includes Everton, Leicester and Wolves.
