I’ll take that deal. I think the way we are playing doesn’t suit Dele. He is too slow for our counter attack. A front 3 of Kane, Son and Bale and a midfield 3 of N’Dombele, Lo Celso and PEH Is the way to go..

We need to be ruthless. Dele just hasn't been good enough for the last couple of years and tbf neither have the whole team for the most part.

I'm all for us shaking up the squad.

I do wonder if Dele if going the other way possibly meant something maybe happened on Sunday that may have pushed JM to be okay with this?

Didn’t his agent poo poo this a while back and say Bale is world class one of best 5 players in the world so has to be playing CL?

if so then why would he sign for us?

In years to come we will absolutely lament the fact that we had one of the best strikers in world football and we failed to capitalise on it when it really mattered. It's totally negligent that Levy let the squad stagnate while relying on Kane's (and Son's) goals.

Levy will have a cold dose of reality when he has to replace ~30 goals every season from Kane. Maybe he should have bought a proper midfield, for a start.

Was there ITK on this? Pretty random that dele would suddenly be linked with Madrid. Dele is class he just needs the right players around him.

I mean the documentary made it very clear that Jose was going to make Dele his project... 10 month later he's clearly not getting it out of him.

I hope the Dele part is bullshit.

It just majorly complicates things.

We can offset Bales wage by offloading some deadwood, Aurier and Lamela would fetch in close to 150k I would have thought.
