Wow, that's pretty big coming from Barnett.
Makes one think that he may have been told something by his client. He's normally a "no comment" type of guy, or just plain quick to shoot down speculation.

Clever move IMO, after Dele's start at the club Levy must have always had a price in mind if we were to sell him. Probably a very high price after his first few seasons.

His performances now make that price unachievable. A good season at a club at Madrid give us a much better stance if we are to sell.

Bale and Dele are nothing like each other. Dele’s personality will suit Madrid much better. It’s whether he’s good enough, that’s the question. Different style, might suit him, might not.

Although I think I probably wandered into an alternate dimension at some point today, so who knows?

Think the translation of this, essentially means if Madrid take Dele (paying 100% of his wages), and we take Bale (paying 50% of his wages), they're only saving €1m euros a year...

Bale charges 14M, so the half is 7. Dele charges 6. Levy wants to loan Bale and take Dele (does not fit with Mou) and leave at -1M € . Madrid would stay at -13M €
