The key to our season is making it work with him. He and Lo Celso together on the pitch can create plenty of chances for the forward line that will be in front of.

Jose needs to suck it up and give him as much time as possible each game. Genuinely has top 5 midfielder in the world potential. That sequence for his goal was something you would see Iniesta do (granted shit opposition but he's done this against plenty of others).
Don't think its about Jose sucking it up mate, Its about Tangy putting in the required effort levels and getting himself properly fit, I've certainly seen him running and trying far far more today and against everton than he ever did last season so here's hoping he keeps building up that match fitness and then puts these performances in for 90mins not just for 30 mins cameo's but very promising start to the season from TN.

PEH is a true DM, I have no idea why people keep claiming he isn't. Problem is if you have attacking full backs you really need 2 defensive minded midfielders. I'd have like an Azpile****a type rather than Doc and then PEH, Lo Celso and Ndombele can work

He’s why we need to putting every dollar we have into a real DM.

We have to have him on the pitch. We have to free him of defensive responsibilities.

Thanks to him everyone will be more rested, he looked actually mobile unlike last season. He could have improvement similar to Sissoko 2 seasons ago.

Yup. Wonderfully gifted.
I have no idea if it will cork good fro him here. I hope it does and the manager looked to him when the shit hit the fan today. There may be something in that

What I meant is he needs to start and if he can only go 60 minutes then we need to just go with it. Sissoko & Winks in midfield are absolutely terrible.

Pure class tonight, put in a shift & showed quality when everyone else was lacking. The only Spurs player I've seen pass a ball with any intent since Mousa left.

Ah right then yes I agree :) from now on but until now he didn't have 60 mins in his legs even but for Southampton game he might just be able to do 60, lets see.

How can even our own fans underrate Harry Kane?

Don't underrate Kane in the slightest, Kane is incredible.

Just believe Tanguy is that talented, whether he had the determination and drive of Kane to maximise it, thats another thing.

Let's not get overzealous, I've been one of his big supporters but some of you are going overboard. It was a great cameo (the bits I got to fucking see) and a step in the right direction. Did very well for his goal. Now needs to carry on building his fitness. Hopefully next week in one of the cup games he can get an hour.

What we should be more excited about is the fact that Jose used him in a 3 with Hojbjerg and Lo Celso.

If he's not carrying any niggles or knocks from previous injuries then Jose needs to push him and play him as much as possible (within reason). He needs his capacity levels increasing.

I’m just happy that Jose turned to him with 30 mins to go. He wasn’t doing that last season, first sub today which is a good thing. Clearly he’s doing something right in training now

One thing I noticed, and it's a small detail, he never once stood still. He was either jogging across to ensure space was covered, passing and then bursting forward or dropping into spaces in between.

Last season he was standing in space not anticipating anything (defensively or offensively).

Encouraging
