Happened with our youth team. Absolute monsoon all night. Woke up expecting a phone call from their manager cancelling. No call. We all drive over in convoy to the pitch only to see from the road on approach that the whole field was under 3ft of water. Manager at the gate apologising that it was off. Pick the bloody phone up! ?Anyone else remember setting off early on a Sunday for a Sunday League game, knowing full well it's been pouring down all night and as soon as you arrive at the pitch the ref or groundsman will call it off?
Feels a bit like that the longer they leave it with no announcement.
Waiting for the American market to wake up before announcing.8 hours until kick off and no official communication from the EFL.
They make us look competent. Shower of bastards.
I was aghast he went to Oxford, he doesn't strike me as very well endowed in the brains departmenti just had to google him as i had no idea. Now i know, one of those goons from sunday supplement.

That deserves a 'what the actual fuck?!' rating but for him, not you.
What a bunch of idiots, from the top down to the individuals involved.
The same University that gave us the Bullingdon Club, Gove, Johnson and Cummings - enough saidI was aghast he went to Oxford, he doesn't strike me as very well endowed in the brains department
Still on as we speak (despite half the O's squad and staff testing positive allegedly)Been a hectic day and can't scroll through all the pages, any news on the game please?

Surely it's a risk to us too, it's ridiculous. The game can't go ahead but i'm not sure awarding us the win is entirely fair either although you might say Orient may not have been following the protocols properly. We might not like it but surely a coin toss sort of thing would be fairer if we can't replay the game?No way this match can go ahead. Far too many cases and therefore higher chance of transmission throughout the club, youth team included.
No news, but it looks like Orient want to try and get a postponement and are reluctant to call it off.Been a hectic day and can't scroll through all the pages, any news on the game please?
It would cost £400,000 for Orient to test "significantly" as EPL clubs do, at the moment they're just doing the minimum they're required as it costs around £7,000 a round of testing.
Er, no - rules are quite clear. Orient should forfeit unfortunatelySurely it's a risk to us too, it's ridiculous.
