Good half. Annoying we don't go in further ahead. Our midfield have a lot of time on the ball and all 3 have looked decent.

Very very happy with that first half. We look like a proper team again. Having said that, Newcastle can't be less threatening in the second so we will need to build on that performance in the second half.

Just go for the throat at the start of the second half and get the second.

Still 1 nil with 20 minutes to go and it will be inevitable they get something.

This by far the best half I’ve seen us against a team that deep/low/bus parking in years.

Mourinho & co must’ve really been working on pressing as a team, haven’t seen us so coherent for a looooong time.

Could (and should) have been a couple of more up at half time.

Hopefully for how well we’ve played the 1-0 isn’t as tight a score as it would normally be for us. Hopefully Jose has a handle on how to see this out and the players are responding to that. Hopefully ? Also we look pretty fit and cohesive so maybe the amount of games we are having are playing into that. Wolves were pretty similar last year. As I said Hopefully.

Should be out of sight now, but great performance. Son so close twice, Kane has been immense and Winks and Lo Celso have linked up really well.

Really think everyone is playing well today. Can't really think of too many negatives besides Son being just off the mark by an inch twice and their goalie being world class in the first 2 minutes.

Best game so far from Doherty and Hojbjerg. Newcastle are pretty gash but we're playing well, creating chances and should've scored far more.

Our Xg must be about 500.
