I reckon Utd are very beatable next week. We look better than them currently. Win that and we’ll be 4 points better off than equivalent fixtures last season.
No Son & They Love Pens = L

We don't yet look to have the necessary standard to even challenge for the title, let alone win it, even if it isn't a year where 100 points is needed. 5 dropped from 3 games is a huge amount to turn around. You need a quick start, and one way or another Jose as manager hasn't managed it.
Yep because today was his fault right? Today isn't the day for anti players or anti Jose agenda. It was none of their fault. We don't yet look to have the necessary standard to even challenge for the title, let alone win it, even if it isn't a year where 100 points is needed. 5 dropped from 3 games is a huge amount to turn around. We're three games in. Let's see how the other 35 games go after our hellish fixture list to start.Anyone really thinks we'll finish above Leicester or Everton this season? I didn't think so.
Son is out and all they have to do is kick a ball at someones arm in the box. We’ll lose this.I reckon Utd are very beatable next week. We look better than them currently. Win that and we’ll be 4 points better off than equivalent fixtures last season.
If you can't score more than one goal against a side likely to face a relegation scrap, with several players out, at home, it's your fault. Period. And across the three games so far, 4 points is close to relegation form considering 2 at home and no top teams faced. I hope he turns it around, but it's a massively disappointing start.Yep because today was his fault right? Today isn't the day for anti players or anti Jose agenda. It was none of their fault.
Whats with the fucking doom and gloom in here?
We played well today. More performances like that and we look good for Top 4 and Europa league win.
Why not? Our performance vs Newcastle were more convincing that we are good than Leicester against City or Everton against CPAnyone really thinks we'll finish above Leicester or Everton this season? I didn't think so.

We're doom and gloom because "The Game is About Glory" has become "we might be fourth best and win a second-tier tournament!"Whats with the fucking doom and gloom in here?

On another day they go in. Also that still isn't Jose's? He isn't the one on the pitch taking the shots... We faced an in-form goalkeeper today. Let that go.If you can't score more than one goal against a side likely to face a relegation scrap, with several players out, at home, it's your fault. Period. I forgot winning a European trophy wasn't about glory..We're doom and gloom because "The Game is About Glory" has become "we might be fourth best and win a second-tier tournament!"
Sod the xG. A world-class manager should be able to not have his team concede from a set piece nearly once a game, and should be able to actually stay till the end and try to help them win. So far there's always an excuse and never a trophy.I think though all things considered we had to manage that match and that we did but you can't legislate for that bullshit what happened at the end.
And you can't put it down to the manager if we created 17 chances and had an XG of 3.19 and we didn't manage to put that game to bed, it's disappointing not to win but there's promising signs there.
How many trophies did we win in those seasons?I don't think we are going to win the title by any means - however I think it should be noted that in our best ever PL seasons:
2011-12: Two defeats (3-0 then 1-5 at home) - then 31 points from a possible 33 to somehow get into the title race
2012-13: Conceded late in all three of our August games (Newcastle away, West Brom and Norwich at home) - leaving us winless at the end of the month. By the end of the season it was our highest ever PL points tally
2015-16: Defeat at United, drew with Stoke after being 2-0 up, let in a late equaliser at Leicester and then a 0-0 against Everton meant no wins in August. Then we embarked upon a genuine title challenge that I doubt anyone saw coming when we were on three points after four games.
2016-17: Dropped points twice in the opening three - the only one we won was a poor performance at home to Palace with a late winner. Then - another title challenge and a record points haul.
Liverpool have set the bar far higher for a title race, but we've started slower than we have this season and had relatively successful seasons so hopefully we can still make something from it.

Because you know it's true. By Tuesday, 50% of our possible trophies this year could be effectively gone, including the only major one he's managed to qualify for. The way you start a season matters. 4 points from Everton, Southampton and Newcastle is simply not an acceptable start, and it will take something spectacular to make up for that failure. An utterly bizarre response, think we'll leave it there.
