I reckon Utd are very beatable next week. We look better than them currently. Win that and we’ll be 4 points better off than equivalent fixtures last season.

5 points after Leicester and Everton atm. They have easier fixtures next week. A big chance that we will be 7-8 points after them. Promising.

It's funny when Spurs sit back and play on the counter. All the pundits say we played poorly and got lucky or we were dominated.

I'm waiting to see what the pundits say about Leicester's win at City given they are now 4-1 up having had 23% possession

But they will all have tougher fixtures as well, and we haven't even kicked into gear yet a long way too go.

We don't yet look to have the necessary standard to even challenge for the title, let alone win it, even if it isn't a year where 100 points is needed. 5 dropped from 3 games is a huge amount to turn around. You need a quick start, and one way or another Jose as manager hasn't managed it.

We should have been celebrating Man Utd, Chelsea and Man City all dropping points after disastrous performances, whilst a strong showing from us got us an important win to gain points on all of those teams.

Instead - thanks to some shocking refereeing - nothing at all to show for it, in fact Man Utd have even gained two points on us.

This coming week will determine how well we have started. If we get EL and finish with 8 off 12 then id say it was a good start given the situation.

4 points from 12 wont be a good start

It is a long season however and things can change - EL does appear to taking its toll with someone like Son already injured.

Why celebrate Man C dropping points? Its not like we will be near them when when the season is over. It would be better if Leicester dropped points.

By the way, anyone who reckons 4th is good may as well trot off and support Arsenal. The game is about glory. The aim, and the expectation, is to win - it doesn't get simpler than that.

If we somehow got 4 points from 1 game, that would indeed be a fantastic start!

I disagree that we don’t have the squad depth to compete [barring another striker].

We’ve just been fucking unlucky with shit officiating, a massive fixture list and injury.

FWD: Kane, Striker, Son, Bale, Bergwijn, Lamela, Sessegnon, Clarke
MID: Lo Celso, Ndombele, Dele, Hojbjerg, Winks, Sissoko, Gedson, White
DEF: Dier, Sanchez, Toby, Foyth, Tanganga, Doherty, Aurier, Reguilon, Davies, Cirkin
GK: Lloris, Hart, Gazzaniga

That’s a pretty deep ass squad — and will obviously need to be trimmed up.

No chance we get four points if we beat Man U. FA will probably give us two points. ?
