If his name was David Sancho and he was English he'd be getting pelters by the media so hes lucky. Hes been as had as Maguire has been for United.

Total fucking liability. Too many mistakes every game. Gave the ball away in the first 30 seconds with a horrendous ball, and the signs looked bad from the start.

It ain't all his fault though. Toby is too slow, and Aurier and Sissoko struggle to stay disciplined enough to give him real protection.
Sanchez and Toby just shouldn't be played in a back 4 together imo.

I thought Toby played pretty well today. For me, we didn't act quickly enough when both of our fullbacks suddenly ran out of legs. But anyway, we'd wasted two subs by then.

I am not going to blast at Toby. Davinson however, that is a different matter. Quite what he was doing for the 2nd goal, I will never know. In short, he ain't good enough and he always gives away chances. Needs to be sold in January.
What about the 1st and 3rd goals, if we hadn't conceded those we would of won 3-1, who are you blasting for those goals?

I agree, Toby generally played ok today. But I think he's lost some of his pace, definitely lost his make up for Sanchez mistake speed. Which I think it makes it difficult to have them playing in a flat back 4 together, without conceding goals.

Totally agree. Sanchez did a lot of good work today. I don't think either full back had a great game, the assist for Kane's third aside. I would have had Davies on for Sergio by 70 minutes. And Aurier did his usual some good, some bad. Doherty must be wondering how come he's sat on the bench.

He played very well besides the og, which was inexcusable and cost us big time. I'm a fan of his, but mentally he's seems a little weak atm.

Im a fan of Davinson, but he could very much do with some time out. Hes seemingly going backwards (certainly not forwards at least) and if Dele rightly gets to sit on the naughty step for a similar reason then so should he. Fingers crossed Rodon and Tanganga can slot back in nicely with Toby and Dier.
Football is a funny old game West Ham and Newcastle proves this. Sanchez scored an own goal and that's all people will remember it's pointless me vouching for him.
What worries me most is how far Toby fallen I'm not worried about Sanchez own goals can happen.

Tottally agree Toby looks like Jan at the beginning of last season.

Every game he's giving away the ball with his shit passing. He gets bullied by center forwards. He puts the team in shit situations with his positioning. Doesn't seem to improve.

Until West Ham's first goal he played well. I do worry about his mentality though, he list it in the last 10 minutes and we have seen numerous mistakes time and time again. Him and Aurier always worry me.

I would forgive him for being absolute pants on the ball if he was a no nonsense defender. Unfortunately he’s rather clumsy all around.

Funny how he's still with us. Didn't Jose go up to Sanchez when he first joined and take the piss out of him for the way he played when Man U beat Ajax?

I thought he started scratchily then was pretty damn good. I missed large parts of the second half as I was cooking with the game on in the background but the replays I've seen of their goals... Well not sure he was awful for any of them. The own goal was unfortunate but not a "howler"...

But the fact is we keep conceding. So the spotlight is on.

In fact Jose tactic in that game was to press and give Sanchez less time on the ball, as he saw him as the technical weakness in the Ajax team, turned out to be correct as well
