I'm not getting into whether he stays or goes or anything else but just one observation.
Dele Alli is no longer part of the manager's plans and PSG have been pushing hard to buy him this window so we could have got a good deal on a player surplus to requirements.
Daniel Levy however refuses to consider letting him go.
If I'm Jose Mourinho I'd at least be wondering why?

Thats the problem. No obvious candidates out there at all.

Cant go Allegri as he is defensive. You need someone who plays attacking football. Cant see Rodgers fancying it and while I like Hasenhuttl, he hasnt done enough yet.

Nagelsmann isnt stupid, he wont take it.
Apparently Nagelsmann turned Chelsea down. He’s definitely not coming into this mess

I've never claimed half the shit above.

But of those 9 five of them are actually our players. One being a goalie. Doherty has been shite. PEH has been the standout and Regulion has been solid with signs of the quality some on here spoke about. Rodon was bought at the end of it all when we had been targeting a world class defender in Skriniar.

As for the loans, I have no idea why we bothered with two of them for differing reasons.

I'm not and apologist, but I like to think that everything isn't as black and white as someone like yourself makes it.

Flaming people is pathetic but it is all you seem to do when it comes to this particular thread.

I don't even post on this thread often so I do believe u made that up :ROFLMAO:your just salty, need a hug? Soothing cup of tea?

Even if you ignore the words and pay attention to the actions it looks like Jose has lost the plot.

The way he set up the team on Thursday and the substitutions he made and again they set up and selection today was not just awful but bizzare. Almost self sabotage which worries me the most

I’m on Tim Sherwood/ David Pleat mode now. I’ll watch out of duty, enjoy anything good we do, be pressed if he turns it around but generally not get too emotionally involved until most likely it ends in tears and someone new comes in with the promise of change and excitement.

Better than me to be honest, I think Thursday will be the first Spurs game I ever willingly choose not to watch. Not sure I want to give up my evening to watch us as we now are. Spurs mean too much to me really and my mood is easily effected by the outcome of our matches and ignoring events seems much better for my mental health in all fairness. Fair play to those who will still watch.

Not really, so why make all those claims if you don't come in here?

Edit:

How old are you? Salty? Fucking hell, how many kids are posting in here?

Yeah I think that’s the same for me.

No half decent international footballer wants to play for a manager who installs the fear of ģod into you should you make a mistake ..The whole team is shit scared.

So how did he manage to win all those trophies at Porto, Chelsea, Inter, Madrid, United if they were all too scared to perform.

Maybe Jose needs a Fluffer in the dressing room :)

Jose has to shoulder plenty of blame but the players are weak mentally. Most of them couldn't hold a candle to even the most average players in his top sides.

Levy isnt stupid, if im not convinced that Jose would would be super long term to justify getting rid of Dele, then I dont think Levy is either.

You can argue and say does that mean Levy isnt backing Jose? I dont know....

The issue wasn’t not attacking. It never really has been. It’s been set piece defending. The problem is when forced to attack, there is ZERO structure. If we don’t get the first goal, and the other team can sit back. There is no sort of possession routine, there is no structure to keep the ball and move into dangerous attacking zones. The team looks like it hasn’t played with each other before when we’re stuck with the task of building the play. It’s most likely because they haven’t been introduced to any sort of structure when in possession.

Jose can stay but he needs to make changes with the formation and himself. He does seem to have a knee jerk reaction whenever anything goes wrong. Players seem not to be happy and Jose not having any empathy. A line needs to be drawn and together move forward. If not, he goes.

The money used to pay off 2 management teams could buy us a decnet player. Somehow I think Levy is losing it.

Yeah I think that’s the same for me.
Thankfully I’m well seasoned in this, I was brought up on it, with Gerry Francis regime being the baptism of fire in practicing apathy while still supporting the team, developing endurance in the Graham era, and perfecting it in the Sherwood season. The only managers that left with me still investing the energy to will a turnaround were Hoddle, Jol and Pochettino.

Self preservation baby ?

I would go for the Wolves manager Nuno Santos. They play high intensity attacking football and are a very difficult to team to breakdown. They haven’t been the same this season but they’ve key lost players to injuries/departures.

Yeah same for me. Jol was the one I wanted to turn it around the most.

I think most of us expected: not to get battered by Brighton and luckily only concede one, not to blow a 3-0 lead in 10 minutes to West Ham, not to play 5 at the back against dogshit teams, not to then sit back and hope to nick a goal out of nothing, not to (~5 times) have a 1-0 lead slip towards the end of the game after sitting back like utter cucks, not to lose to Antwerp, not to have a load of players alienated, not to watch Sissoko at right back with the useless guy he wanted for 15m sat on the bench, not to have signed one of the worst goalkeepers on the planet, not to play worse football than Burnley or Stoke ever did whilst having two of the best forwards in world football at our disposal.

Just a few things from the top of my head.

Perhaps. But if you look across the board, there have been bizarre and unexpected results all over the place. The better sides, with higher quality have started to settle. Spurs currently sit 6th, still within reach of the coveted champs league.

Personally, I thought the side would be worse off.

I agree the football is worse (actually awful) to watch than I thought it would be. But overall, the league position and Cup runs are exceeding my own expectations.

This side was a decent CB away from even more.

I appreciate I'm in a minority, but I think he should be backed In rooting out the 'issues' and naysayers.

Anyway.
