He has been with us for 37 days and has signed four new players, averaging one for every 9 days of tenure (allow him one day off to sort his desk out). We have 25 days of window left so to maintain his impressive stats we need another 3 more. ;)
Gollini, Gil, Romero. Who is the 4th?

Very impressive work so far.
We still need a RB considering Serge is leaving but I honestly would keep him and get rid of Doherty. Hopefully Tomiyasu is coming in, so this position is pretty much sorted.
We need another CB - apart from Romero and Rodon (?) I don't see any other CB's in our team that we can trust
We need another CM. Hopefully Sissoko and Winks are leaving so we need someone who has quality. Aouar would be a great signing. I've watched some matches of Lyon last season and I would describe him as Eriksen but with the ability to dribble. Also him and Ndombele have formed a good partnership in the past.
We need RW - I don't think that Lucas is good on the right wing. He plays much better in that №10 role. Gil could be good there but he needs some time to settle and retrained considering that he played mostly on the left wing.
And, of course, we need CF. This is quite simple. Vlahovic. This is our guy.
If we can improve all these gaps we will have huge chances to be in the top 4

Thought this should be seen in here.
Seeing as the Gil seems to be a game changer in the Olympic final.

Surely he will make a play for Coady or a more experienced centre half alongside Romero. Rodon will be used more than last season I am sure, but cannot be relied on at this stage.

I agree with you, but Rodon should be above any of our other cbs at the mo (excluding Rom of course).

Alastair Gold says we are looking for another CB to come in now to play alongside Romero - likely to be a “leader” type. Not sure who we have been linked with that may fit this profile? He seems to be vocal leader rather than necessarily old/experienced.

Koulibaly from Napoli would be the dream. He's just turned 30 and is in his prime, could easily have him for 3-4 years at the top level.

Otherwise, Boateng as a free agent would be smart.

Do not want Coady. He fits well within the Wolves system (just like Doherty) but he'd be exposed in a back 4 IMO.

Skriniar is a leader also isn't he?

Boateng
Felipe
Otamendi
Coady
De Vrij

Might be someone completely left field but that list ties in with ITK and Leader like qualities.

Would only take Boateng and De Vrij

The other 3 aren't really an upgrade on what we already have tbh.

Coady would be a big mistake.

Giving me Doherty vibes.
This.

A CB who is good in a back 3 and average in a back 4...bought to play in a back 4. It's the exact same backwards thinking that led to us buying Doherty.

The other reason it makes no sense is that Coady and Romero are both best playing in the middle of a back 3, so even if we do switch to that formation one of them won't even be in their best role.
