Kane was part of Poch's revolution, and became the figurehead of the club. Local boy does good and all that.

But that was a long time ago now. We're embarking on Nuno's revolution, and its time for a clean slate. A nice wedge will facilitate that.

Still. Didn't have to be such a fuck-stick about it. We'll be inviting Gilberto back before H now.

A couple dozen millions more than Lukaku, who’s never been able to do it in the PL… City got what they wanted.

So long, Kane. Now you’ll never know how it feels like to have won a trophy. Bought is not the same as won.
Come on Lukaku has been able to do it in the prem, over 100 prem goals at better scoring rate then the likes of fowler, cole, hasselbaink, , drogba

If city fans are talking about being classy, perhaps they should take a look in the mirror:

It's amazing how a billion pounds has changed an also ran into a powerhouse, just to hide the reality of who the owners are.

I find it hilarious that city are actively promoting LGBTQ when their owners treat it as a crime. It's pure cognitive dissonance.

People who fall for their money are obviously unable to look at anything from an ethical perspective.

If he was truly Spurs, he would've never disrespected the club like this.

Those Arsenal pics make a lot of sense in retrospect.

Fuck him.

F**k off Kane, hope you break tour ankle first game for shitty.

So, so disappointed by his behaviour. Shame on you, you greedy bastard.

Never in a lifetime are you a spurs legend.

Lets go Fab, rebuild and give us all a team to be proud of.

As with everything Spurs - it's not the outcome that's the problem, it's the cruel and painful journey.
Yeah, ain't that the sad truth. Though, if there is a sliver of a silver lining, I would look to the Bale transfer as precedent. Within two years of him leaving, we were completely reinvented and reinvigorated. It directly led to our most successful league form since the early 1980s. The best team I have seen since the year Clive Allen scored 49 goals. So, all we can do is hope this is a similar outcome.

I don't know the details yet just know it's close. Expected to be completed today/tomorrow.
120-130m and we can just about replace him with 2 forwards. If it's completed before we've brought in replacement we will struggle with 2 forwards for that price.

It's always a good laugh when City fail again with the bald fraud to win anything in Europe, and this will only make it sweeter when they fuck it up again. As disgusting as these state owned clubs are, I'll be backing Poch to do them over. Some sweet justice for Harry losing him his job.

Trix says he’s going, fee likely to be below £150m but with add-ons that could take it above that mark. Nuno wants him out and Paratici wants the money soon lest we miss out on targets. Herc confirms that Levy is in communication with City. May be some other details I’m not remembering off the top of my head.

I thought it was bad how people changed the past when Eriksen, Walker left…but this is next level. ‘Big part of our demise’….crikey! Bloke only got the most goals and assists in the league, shame no one could defend.

They could defend, just not for 89 fucking minutes.

Can we leave his brother out of this, you're just projecting your disappointment in Harry.

For at least 3 or 4 years before he "went it alone" with CK66, CK was employed by Harry's former agents, USM. He has obviously told Harry that while he was there he learned everything he needs to and has picked up all the little tricks of the trade.

So although I agree, this is mostly on Harry as he is a grown man, Charlie has probably said "don't worry mate, this is how it works, nobody will react too strongly, i've seen it work for other players who want out" and HK has believed it.

I think we forget how removed from fans players are these days and he would probably not have imagined the reaction he got. He'd have thought people would have understood his "ambition". CK's further error was encouraging that rather than giving realistic advice.

That image of Kane surrounded by the sea of supporters from the finale at the Lane hits different after the last few months for sure. At the time I thought it was joy from bringing his boyhood club to new heights, but it seems as if we became a vehicle for his personal ambitions somewhere along the way.

There were hints though. I personally sort of willfully ignored them. Was it really for the best that he rushed back to play in two finals while clearly unfit? Or that our press suddenly died off in early ‘19, breaking the system of the best manager we’ve had in decades (arguably leading to him getting canned)?

He‘s personally responsible for several of the best moments in my life in recent years, esp in 2016 when everything here in the States started going to shit, and I thank him for that. But he can fuck right off. It didn’t have to be this ugly, but the way it went down only means that what we thought he was all along was largely projection on our part.

Lets reinvest, reload, and rebuild around a squad that wants to wear the shirt. Hard to imagine a sharper contrast than that of him and Sonny, who despite not having childhood loyalties to the club has become everything we wished Kane actually was.
I don't think it's been a gradual thing - I just don't think Kane ever truly loved the club.

He liked the club and respected the club, but never loved it.

And, to be honest, I'm not sure if he's even capable of truly loving Spurs in the way many fans and players: he's a laser-focused, single-minded footballing machine whose entire life has been dedicated to being the best player he possibly can. That type of personality doesn't tend to lend itself to romance and type of deep connection that you can genuinely feel in players like Hoddle, Ginola and even VDV when they talk about Spurs.

He took his fucking golden boot/assist trophies on holiday with him FFS.

He's always been Harry first, Spurs second.

It’s a complete disaster, no other way to paint it in my opinion. As much as I hate some of the things he has done lately. No player is bigger than the club, we have have built a magnificent new stadium but lost a generational player. I know loads on here are saying take the money but no amount is going to replace him. I don’t trust us to spend money wisely. I think some grim time lie ahead.
