What benefit does an agent get from slowing down a deal. Surely they want it done as they get their commission?

Assuming they want the best deal possible for themselves so if what mendes is currently being offered he's not happy with then I guess he'll hold out until it improves for him. Fucking leeches.

But even so I’d assume you wouldn’t want to risk the deal not happening. He must also have a team of people. Anyone in sales want deals to happen quickly. I’m sure it’s complicated but I don’t get dragging out a deal at all?

except for an industry where you only have two small windows a year to make the sales. in that situation you would want to make sure every single deal is maximised in your favour as you need to live off it for the next 6 months.
