I actually feel those comments are really positive. He could have said I love Inter, there is no chance I'm leaving, can't wait for next season blah blah blah.
All he's said is he has a contract and will go back to Inter for pre season.
I've said the same for a few weeks now and again today, I have never been more confident that we will get this over the line.
Yes Inter are tough to negotiate with, but they're lining up several deals currently and need the money ASAP so there is a real chance this could be wrapped up by close of play next week.

Seems pretty nailed on doesn’t it. Going after a big name like Lukaku is an old school Daniel Levy-esque appeasement move too.

Even more so when we've had ITK that an agent assisting with the Bastoni deal is from Base, who represent Bremer.
