I think 4 forwards and Moura is enough tbh. If more than one gets injured or fatigued we can always switch to 3-5-2
As someone already mentioned this may be the reason we are hearing that we intend to give Troy Parrott a real shot this summer in pre-season.

Kane*, Son*, Kulu*, Raphinha, Lucas* and Parrott* would be pretty good if you ask me. * next to each player that is an option at striker. Maybe I’m one of the only people that still has faith Parrott might make it with us though. We might wait until Conte has assessed Parrott in pre-season to decide if we pull the trigger on an out and out striker

Would love him, but.as others have said would like an actual striker with him. Someone like Weghorst, at least as a plan B. Personally feel Richarlson could work both roles.

We're going to really struggle if we sign Raphinha only with no Kane backup. We could spend £150m net on players elsewhere and still throw our season down the toilet by not having a proper number 9 in the event of Kane tiredness or injury.

We have to have another option who can play as a 9 and isn't Son in a normal season, never mind the next where the schedule is mental. Richarlison would be that, Raphinha wouldn't and neither would Lucas or Kulusevski.

I think what has been implied is that we'll only sign one of the current 5 man attacking shortlist. This is likely all players that are commanding significant fees (50m+) - Raphinha, Richarlison, Antony, Jesus, Scamacca

It's been said that Paratici has like a spiders web of potential moves and certain signings are linked to others.

It's very possible that signing Raphinha could bring a cheaper striker list into play, which wouldn't be required if we signed Richarlison. That might lead to a different shortlist, maybe creative 8/10 players instead.

Romano probably stole it from here.
Not content with giving the same info 4 times a day on every football club in the world, having 4 hours sleep a day, fabrizio Romano definitely reads the spurs community raphinha thread to steal information from someone he doesnt know. Or, he could have heard the same information as WLB

Yeah, my concern there is rest for Son. If Kane gets injured for a month then Son has to play every single game.

I don't think a line up without one of Kane or Son works. That's why if you do Raphinha I think you need an out & out 9 maybe like the guy from Blackburn so that he can at least hold up play, etc.
I dont think he does, we could move to a 2, with kulu and say rapinha rotating with son, we could play a 3 with moura rotating with son, kulu and rapinha, worst comes to worst persisic can cover too.

My flatmate is dating a leeds fan, I hate him.

If we get this over the line it would be extremely sweet. (Not to mention gazumping Arsenal as well)

£65m you say, we can cover that with the sales of Bergwijn, Winks and Lo Celso.

Money isn't the issue here, I don't think. With LCB looking like it'll be a cheaper option, RWB looking relatively cheap in Spence, and midfield shored up with Bissouma at a really good price, we've got that kind of money to throw around. I think, as mentioned, it's down to if we feel like those funds are best allocated for Raphinha or someone else.
