The Local Government in Spain won't let Barca go under but they may allow them to restructure their debt. So in away BM could be right and they may have to wait a very long time for their money. Not sure what the the UEFA rules are in such a situation. Would Barca be allowed to compete in UEFA competitions if they haven't paid their debts as per contracts ?
Raphael Honigstein:
Southampton quietly doing some really good business this window. I think they might surprise a few next season, although they are lacking some experience.
Yes it was.consensus seems to be that Sterling is a real statement signing by Chelsea (see John Cross, Mirror)
Its also a statement by Abu Dhabi - a statement that they don't see Chelsea as a threat.
PS - didn't Sterling get some horrific racial abuse at Chelsea a few years ago that was a headline news for a while, prompting Sterling to post a rather eloquent response on instagram?? That was at Stamford Bridge wasn't it??
This was a tongue in cheek comment on a podcast that Marca reported as actual news.
Raphael Honigstein:
Could be an absolute snip at the rumoured £12m fee
Anyone else find this a weird transfer?
I know he’s club trained for the chaos but he’s really not that good. He seems to have made a career out of being a substitute as he can’t be their first choice for many games.
Chelsea are in advanced talks to sign Netherlands defender Nathan Ake, 27, from Manchester City. (Times)

Southampton at it again..
The Griezmann one was utterly self-serving.Time to go all Souness...
Pogba is everything wrong with modern players (problem society).
"Look at me! Guess which club I am going to?!" attitude. Griezmann pulled that shit a couple of years ago.
Why do these idiots need the clout and to create this hysteria? If you put as much thought and energy into making yourselves better players (team players) maybe you would win more and be remembered more fondly.
