Arsenal trying to get SMS….

Sonne Mond Sterne tickets? I know they're going to Nurnberg for pre-season preparations and it's not that far for them to make an appearance and announce a release a new pre-season kit.

David Carmo heading to Porto according to Fabrizio Romano. No doubt in my mind they get £50m plus for him when he eventually leaves.

Spot on. He moves to the PL for huge money in a year or two.

Not sure where to put this but it's interesting.

Barca, with the help from Marca, leaking De Jongs contract details in order to vilify him lol.

The contract is ludicrous btw but that's on Barca making that deal.

Don't understand how this villifies the player at all when the club at some point actually put those terms on the paper.

It's so mad that Barca pay these wages as there's absolutely no need to. Players would walk over hot coals to play for them.

They're just trying to shove the blame for their financial woes onto the players instead of taking any responsibility for grossly over-paying them in the first place. They're good at blaming everybody else.

Brentford have emerged as front runners to sign Hull City’s Keane Lewis-Potter, one of the Championship’s most coveted young players.

i understands the Bees have offered around £16million for Lewis-Potter, who is an England under-21 international and is keen on a move to the Premier League. There has been strong interest from Everton and West Ham but Brentford have moved decisively to secure his signing with an offer that has forced Hull to – reluctantly – sell.

We we’re linked back in January iirc. Brentford has a good record of picking up young players from lower leagues and developing them. KLP could be the next.

Southampton quietly doing some really good business this window. I think they might surprise a few next season, although they are lacking some experience.

I find that they always take risks (or greater risks shall we say) every window with their signings. I do fear for them that one time it just won't work out.

They have been ace at recruiting and developing talent for years. What a side they could have had if they’d held on to some players at their peak. Bale, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Virgil, Wanyama, Lallana, Lambert, Shaw, Hojbjerg, Mane…

Romano: di Maria will join Pogba at Juve, Weghorst moves from Burnley to Besiktas. Southampton are signing Joe Aribo from Rangers.

Still talk of Lewandowski to Barca. Why does he want to go there? They’re a basket case, both financially and on the pitch.

They may be a basket case but adding playing for Barca to your CV still has appeal surely? They'll also no doubt pay him a fortune which helps!

:playful:

Raphael Honigstein:

Bayern Munich have told FC Barcelona they don't want any installments in any deal for Robert Lewandowski and that they want all the money upfront in cash because Bayern believes that FC Barcelona won't exist in "one or two years time"
