We do not need to move players out to bring others in. As I've said before we are actively trying to do both and whichever happens first happens.

Zaniolo deal is as I posted Friday. Nothing has changed over the weekend. I have a pretty good track on this one.
Cheers as always. As you mention "...as of Friday"

Hopefully there are further talks, as others have mentioned, this week sometime and we can see if this deal will progress or not ??

I'm sure I've said this before so apologies for repeating myself but dealing with Italians is like this, there's always another thing even when everyone has the pens in their hands to sign the contracts they're likely to want something, more money, less money something.
It's not personal it's strictly business.
I used to enjoy the game.
Anyway I'm sure Fabio knows all about it ?
Maybe they just won't take Tanguy no matter how much we pay them

I’m not gonna lie, at this point I don’t really care which attacking midfielder we get, I just think it’s a vital option to have for us when we can’t break teams down. We can play them behind Kane and Son with Kulu at RWB, that would be incredibly tough to defend against

Move on to Paqueta or Madison and leave them to stew. And they can forget about Tanganga

Leicester will want sixty to seventy million for Maddison and Rogers is firm on that. Not going to happen.

As for Paqueta he a different player compared to Zaniolo, and I'd be very surprised if Paratici doesn't land the player that Conte wants.

Conte wants him, I am sure it will happen. Just a case of who bends first. Maybe we will compromise and do an obligation if certain targets are met.

Trix said all parties want it to happen, so I don't see why it won't get done.

Easy to say to just move on to two completely different players with completely different playing styles, but the reality is Conte wants a powerful driving WF not a ball playing #10.

Although I’m sure we want our targets in as soon as possible there are still 3 and half weeks until the window shuts. Still plenty of time for things to happen. All I’d say is if we do want Paqueta as a second choice then I guess we will need to watch what happens with Barca/De Jong/Bernardo if we think Zaniolo won’t happen.

I think it's safe to say that we won't be buying anyone Conte doesn't want. So let's see who comes in and then back them.

Interesting.

Juve have an out-of-favour one of those on their books, but he might be on loan at .... balls. Yeah. Spurs.

yeah and it's not like we are in United's position where we have made few additions and desperately need players in. We also have 3 weeks remaining, so I guess we push this until it really looks impossible and maybe move on.

No need for panic

Assuming that’s the case, which it certainly seems to be, then why is Paqueta considered the next choice or a choice at all? Surely our back up targets to Zaniolo should be other driving wing forwards?

I feel that’s been the core of a lot of discussion on here. Exactly as you say, Zaniolo is a very different type of player to Paqueta/Maddison. So even if Paratici is the one pushing both of them, neither fit the remit Conte is looking for which itself doesn’t make a lot of sense. I completely understand having different options and as you said previous, being fluid with our targets is important. But I don’t get the point in target players that are so different to what is ideally wanted as they would have a very different effect on the team.

Who exactly are 'all parties' here?
