I hope we can just postpone all games to the start of the WC. The lads are no longer having the heart to play. Not when they are under a physically demanding coach like Conte.

It's only one game but it still feels very discouraging if I'm honest.

We need Kulusevski back but the game plan with a group of very capable players still tonight has been so disappointing.
It's not only one game though, the way we play is predictably bad. I think there is a bigger problem here.

We got completely bullied tonight. They’ve been rightly lauded for their performances so far but I can’t remember seeing a midfield unit give the ball away as many times as ours did tonight. Kane and Son gave us nothing either. That was so bad.

Those having a pop at Conte must be delusional.

We aren't winning the league with fucking Dier, Davies and Doherty at the back.

Holberg is bang average also if we're honest. Conte has us about where we should be, or if anything is over achieving with this squad.

Romero is a shadow of the player he was last season, just looks like he’s terrified of getting injured, which is fine unless you consider that he gets paid an awful lot of money to play for us, not for Argentina
This is going to get worse over the next month, I don’t expect any of them to go into tackles with an ounce of commitment. You could see Harry jogging around again tonight not interested in pressing properly.

I really feel like Conte gave up after the 2nd goal went in for United.

Kane had been absolutely pocketed tonight.
His a lazy f##k sick of him living on a couple moments a game! Obvious his pacing himself for the World Cup. F##k that the CLUB should come 1st and he should be bursting a gut.
Just because he has great ability isn't enough. Yet another poor game against a big team.

I just cannot get my head around the decline since the end of last season. Was that just a purple patch? Is it the new players? Perisic and Bissouma have been hugely disappointing so far. Is Son over the hill or just off form? Or has our style of play simply been found out? It's very concerning, we've come unstuck every time we've played anyone decent this year, and I think our league position will start to reflect that soon if we don't sort this out.

Very poor but no point going too overboard.

One thing you are starting to see with our tactics is a problem conceding shots from distance. Today, Arsenal away, Liverpool away last season.

Disappointing performance, we looked cumbersome and leggy. Hopefully we can bounce back against Newcastle. No positives to take away from tonights game I'm afraid ?

What was that? That must be the weakest I've seen us for quite some time. Against a united still finding their way. It's like we didn't even try. Deserved the loss and weren't even close. We are so much better than this. Even gung ho Redknapp style would have made this a better watch. And possibly got something from the match. One nil down and still defending... Two nil down and still defending.
