I do have the feeling Conte is more to blame than the players tonight. The way we approached this game was totally fucking wrong.
100% agree he has been the main culprit all season. Yet he gets away with it because of assist and goals but teamwork and effort just as important! This is going to get worse over the next month, I don’t expect any of them to go into tackles with an ounce of commitment. You could see Harry jogging around again tonight not interested in pressing properly.
i disagree, didn’t Utd have something ridiculous like 18 attempts in the first half alone? No other so called big club would ever allow that level of ineptitude.
dismayed is the right word though.
Conte must rate them as he spent 60m on Richarlison who’s hardly pulled up any trees. Those having a pop at Conte must be delusional.
We aren't winning the league with fucking Dier, Davies and Doherty at the back.
Holberg is bang average also if we're honest. Conte has us about where we should be, or if anything is over achieving with this squad.
not hyped up ...we played shit & deserve to lose. that's on the players ....they get trained, given instruction and tactics & go out on the field to execute it. There was none of that and it's tedious that when the selected players don't execute we go into meltdown & lambast the coach. The guy who hates losing is sending us out to play this shit? Nah dude - players like Kane, Son, Dier, Perisic (experienced players) need to ask themselves what they did to change the game or set the tone for our play. Players have to learn to solve problems on the pitch by themselves (this is what made all the great sides unbeatable). We started well (first 10 mins) and then we settle into that shit pattern of dropping off and losing intensity ...again, you think Conte asks the team to do that? Go watch all the teams he's coached and see what bastards they are to play against ..they hound you all game from start to finish. Our players have a mental block and quit too easyLol I never said any of that I just think that when you’re getting absolutely battered for 80 minutes and you’re one of the few options on the bench and you don’t get a look in it’s a bit harsh, it’s a fair comment but can see you’re a little hyped up because of the result so no probs
Got to take it as that really. Our performances against the top 6 is incredibly worrying because we have looked beyond poor in all of them except maybe 20 mins in the first half against Arsenal where we looked okay. But on the bright side it’s another hard away game out the way and we just have to move on. Although I will say the nature of that domination was very concerning.Typical fucking dog shit Old Trafford performance.
That’s as maybe, but we need goals, not to worry about conceding again at 2-0 downas Dier has been terrible and probably at fault for both of their goals tonight.
Are we going into ‘big’ matches with a Do Not Lose attitude?? Are the players scared of losing?? Then it’s too late when we go behind?
I just dunno but that is shocking tonight
So did the 10 players on the pitch..it can’t be all conteI really feel like Conte gave up after the 2nd goal went in for United.
BS there's always some excuse for these losers, everyone else on same boat.I hope we can just postpone all games to the start of the WC. The lads are no longer having the heart to play. Not when they are under a physically demanding coach like Conte.
I remain convinced that it's the tempo the players are being asked to play at that is the problem. It's this kind of trotting speed, and it's the same whether we have the ball or not. It looks half-arsed and it's really hard to change up a gear.I don't really understand what's happening with Spurs just now. These players aren't this bad. Are they struggling with Conte's instruction? How can all 10 outfield players be so collectively bad at the same time? It can't be coincidence can it?
